As you might have guessed my wife and I are renovating our livingroom. Last week we bought a large closet which I could not move by myself, and this weekend we bought a tv-cabinet. I had to ask our friend to help us out, since even though this cabinet is a lot less heavy then the pc-cabinet we moved last week my wife and I still could not move it by ourselves.

So we drove to Germany this evening to collect the cabinet. I was very glad my friend was there to help, because the piece of furnature is actually very heavy and my wife and I would not have been able to move it by ourselves.

Because during the drive our friend agreed to continue the shows I send a tekst to my wife asking her to remove all her top-clothes, except her blouse, before we came back. And so she did. He told me he has done that in the past, but he doesn't make a lot of money and the 'ladies of pleasure' in our neighbourhood are actually quite expensive.

Oktoberfest is just a couple of days away now. We live only 5 kilometers or so from the German border (in Holland) and the local shopkeepers seem to think it’s a good idea to copy this German fest to boost their income. We don’t mind: the Oktoberfest takes place in the city center, and we live some distance from there, so we don’t have any nuisance. My wife and I don’t participate however: in a few months it’s going to be carnival and that’s a real Dutch feast!

Our friend does want to go to the Oktoberfest, but he didn’t have anything to wear. Around eleven o’clock it was time for our friend to walk to the trainstation in order to go home. I offered to my wife to walk with him, taking our dog for a walk at the same time.
