A short time ago, my wife arranged to meet our friend at a hotel for a couple of days near where I work which is 60 miles from home. My wife recently bought a six-pack of boring white cotton knickers to wear for work.

She hasn't said that a couple of pairs have gone missing but I know where they have gone.

The first pair she wore under her jeans when we went away for a few days to an apartment by the sea. As we were packing up to leave I spotted her knickers in the carrier bag we were using for laundry. They had quite obviously been worn with a distinctive creamy streak in the gusset. When she wasn't looking I whipped them out of the bag and put them in my pocket.
