Think u said it all, Wino. Unless you're a web porn prodigy, it DOES take seeing how vids have evolved thru the years, to have a good 'feel' for what is am. I won't try explaining, for time & boredom sake. But, if u were there for the start up to now, u just gain things that help tell u am or not.

Jesus, dude, forget worrying about whether the girls get a pay check. Nobody cares.

It's the multiple cameras and smooth tracking shots. The perfect angles and focus. The edits and cuts. The (inevitable) crappy soundtrack. The girls moaning the way only porn actresses moan (and looking the way only porn actresses look). The settings always being hotel suites and big show houses that never have much furniture and anything suggesting a real human actually lives there.

Amateur vids features houses/apartments that suggest the cops just tossed the place. The women look like someone you'd see at the mall. Less that perfect bodies. The camera work is often a disaster -- the guy's got his arm in front of her face while she's blowing him. So you don't see anything The lighting is often non-existent.

But that's amateur porn. Real people having real sex who then post/upload/swap their homemade vids.
