But seriously, have we gotten an answer from the mods yet? Wherever we run the game is fine with me as long as we're not moving it somewhere else.

Yeah, we've got a lot of players and I can't handle everyone just yet. I'm thinking though, let's first go through a simple test phase with four players, in a 2 vs. 2 team and no NPCs - after that we can move on to the real thing, and see what we do. And of course, if anyone else wants to be Game Master for the rest of the players, I ain't got nothing against that.

I've asked one moderator whether we're allowed to play here or not, but I haven't as of yet gotten a response, sadly.

Why don't we start with the first four here, then, and if it turns out to not be allowed here, we can find somewhere else? I'd be up for the 2 vs 2 match whenever you guys are.

If contained to a small handful of threads, the RPG should be fine here.

If it spills over into dozens of threads, I could see how that would be disrespectful to people just wanting to read stories.

Fair enough, let's try doing it here, then. BigMara and Dew0427, your characters seem to be finished (even though they are a bit similar, I suppose), so you two are in the first fight. Cerindclvr, this is your setting, so you're obviously let into the test fight as Christie Grey - though you should pick some Signature Moves (four, to be precise, since Christie has such a broad spread of Stats).

It seems we have three candidates for the last slot in this game, namely luna146, Murplefleem, and wildfang. All three have characters, but neither character is 100% finished yet - so I'll give the final slot to whoever posts an updated character sheet including Signature Moves. Sound fair?

The first fight won't probably last forever, so don't worry if you didn't get in the first round here - we can always discuss our options after the first test fight.

I was thinking running them 2-on-2. Is there a particular reason why we should try doing 1-on-1 fights instead, you think?

Nah, I actually prefer the idea of 2 vs 2. I think I just misread your previous post where you said Dew and I were going to be in the first match. I get it now, though.

I don't mind not being in the first fight and just observing,(to get full understanding of everything....i know its a bit weird but its just my style sorry) when we start actually questing or during the 2nd round i'll join, if thats cool.

is that the only race allowed?
looking at the stories Elves seem to exist, is this a standard fantasy setting like D&D?

also since the 4 players have been selected are people still allowed to make characters?
also are you allowed to draw your character or does physical description have to be in text?
