Clickr73 ' s Set is excellent because it includes indoors photos as well.

psiman this confused me. These pics aren't in clickr's public photos, and I didn't see them in the fremont thread either. Perhaps I'm looking in the wrong place. Can you help?

This is the one great thing about Flickr groups. Often, they are not worth surfing. But knowing that "friends only" pics can often be viewed this way makes it sometimes very worthwhile. Klondike Last edited by Klondike; 07-05-2009 at 08:30 AM. |

To help clarify, klondyke is correct, they are from the Free-Mont Group, and are still there.
You DO have to be a member of a group to access that groups's photos at Flickr. Here are a few more of the table thumpers, Thanks for your posts over the years klondyke, I also now want to own a Canon 50D. Last edited by psiman99; 07-05-2009 at 11:59 AM. |

It looks like all the photos that were marked public in clikr73's own albums were public i.e. viewable in the Fremont group collection even if you were not a member, but the ones that were marked private were only viewable in the Fremont group if you joined up. Once I signed up I could see everything. |

This and the South American Indians thread are my two all time favorites on OCC. Does anybody know if a participant in the Solstice parade, or other events like it, must have any qualifications, or register in advance with the parade organizers, or can anybody show up naked and join in? If they must register, is there any fee?
Are any female OCC members, or female friends of OCC members considering joining next year's parade? If any are considering it, but are concerned about a registration fee, or expenses for travel to Freemont, bikini waxing, etc., would an OCC moderater be able to set up a fund to which OCC members could contribute to help defray part of these costs? If so, a PO box to which one could mail a check would be preferable to people like me, who are hesitant to give credit card information on the internet. Thank you very much to all who contributed pictures to this thread. |

Participating is easy. There is no fee. And from the sounds of things in recent years, you could just sort of show up and join the hoards at any point in the ride and few are going to notice or care if you "registered". Over at Flickr, its happened on more than one occasion that I get a comment on one of my pics from a young woman who says something like "That looks like fun! I'd like to try that!" It would be an interesting way for a photog to add nudes to his "portfolio". I think of it as similar to asking and paying a woman to accompany you to the local nude beach for a photosession. For me, it would be important to try and assemble a good sized group that stays more or less together and has a themed paint job. 3-5 women would be ideal, but of course, more would be even better. ![]() Funding required? Figure maybe $200-600 per woman. Split among 200,000 OCC members, that ain't too bad.... Klondike |

Klondike, your post makes me optimistic. I didn't know that we had 200,000 OCC members! Also, I did not consider that paying local women would be less expensive than reimbursing travel expenses for a "free" volunteer from a distant location, but from your estimate of $200 to $600 per woman, it seems that it would be significantly less expensive to recruit local women.
If only one tenth of one percent of OCC contributed an average of $9 each, that would be $1800, enough for 3 women at $600 each. It is not unreasonable to hope that we could even raise more money than would be practical to spend on the Solstice Parade in one year. Perhaps any extra could be saved for the following year, or contributed to some other event, such as the WNBR in London. I live in Florida, and unfortunately there are no public nudity events I know of here. I would still contribute to such a fund, even though I would not be able to attend an event in person. Has anybody had experience in raising money, or does anybody know how one would go about this? |
