What on earth is the point of using a nude suit in something like this? Rosenkavalier wasn't written to be done with nudity and it was performed quite successfully for generations without nudity. If, for some reason, artistic of otherwise, nudity is now included, great. If a performer, or a venue, objects to nudity, the performance can be done clothed, as it always has been. But there's nothing quite as silly as fake nudity!

I agree completely, they wrote the scene in themselves, but did not have the guts to go through with it, which makes it silly rather than add to the performance.
