By the time I got to the other side, she was nowhere to be found. I am sure I would see her again, after all it is not hard to spot a brown leather pirates hat with a big red feather at a place like this, right?
The crew I was there with had a good laugh, and we split up. They went to the jousting, I in search of my hat.

As I came around the "game field" I caught site of her and hurried to catch up, but lost her in the crowd. The clanging of swords and aws of the crowd told me there was a fight going on the field.

As one of the combatants fell, I saw her again, dancing onto the field of battle to escort him off the other side from where I was standing, and she was wearing my hat.

She was graceful, and she seemed curvy in all the right ways under that costume, but she still had my hat and I was racing to the other side of the crowd to catch her and get it back.

Again, I missed her. I have also lost the people I came with. Time to set priorities.

No answer on the cell phone when I called my wife, so I moved on to my second mission, getting my hat back. i have played chase with this woman, and I think that is what she wanted, so will now stay somewhere and have her come to me.

I went to the "Iron Throne" area. It was not iron, but a wooden assembly that looked like the one on Game of Thrones
This part of the fair was less populated and back in the woods a way, so there were few visitors during the main events.
Sitting on the throne, I drank from my tankard.

heard soft footsteps behind me, and without looking up I said "I can't say it wasn't fun to chase you all over this fair Luv, but can I have have my hat back now?"

Of course, being Death, she could not speak, but she moved gracefully over to me and placed the hat back on my head. Her black silky glove rubbed the side of my face and continued down my neck and onto my chest.
I smiled as she looked at me threw that opaque shawl.
"you have a lovely touch for death" I said.
"And you are one horny pirate." she whispered back.
Yep, I had found my wife.

I reappraised her carefully, and said with a smile "Is it time to leave?'
She went back into death mode and gestured for me to lead the way.
She stayed nonspeaking as we went out to her car and drove back to the hotel
