Default Where are the trees?

Looks like this thread is morphing into a "Nude in Nature" thread, based on the last few posts...

I've always admired your logo, Jim. I look for trees when ever I can -but it's damned hard to find them. This is not an easy subject matter to maintain. So I go with forest-like settings too. If you've been in the mountains you know there are forest and alpine zones, rocks and meadows, lakes and rivers. Unlike some of those "other" outdoor threads -I have avoided morphing this into a beach thread. I have debated showing women with trees in suburban neighborhoods- but have decided to stick with forest zones and thick vegetation. You are welcome to contribute any women with forest and trees in the background that you might find -and I will take your advice and look harder for trees. Meanwhile, enjoy a cup- and thanks for your interest in the thread.

Fox:

Nicely played, sir. Thanks for a thoughtful response. And thanks for liking my avatar.

My feeling is that if the pic doesn't have a tree visible anywhere in it, it probably doesn't belong in a tree-hugger thread, but hey, whatever. It's a similar problem with the "Nude in Nice Scenery" thread. I tried to keep that one going for a while, but I quickly ran out of material for such a narrow concept. Others then began to turn it into a "Nude Outdoors" thread, and I lost interest. A naked girl photographed in front of a rock wall is not "nude in nice scenery." To maintain the focus, and interest of the thread, I think you'd be better off to at least have a tree in a tree-hugger thread, but like I said, whatever.

I've had one post of mine in this thread deleted - poof, gone - and I don't know why. Most of the other pics I have that might fit the category (and didn't originally come from OCC) are pro pics - or more so, might appear to the mods to be pro pics. Since I don't like having my posts deleted, I won't attempt to post any of them. I also have legions of art nudes hugging trees taken by professional photographers that come from sites like DA, Flickr and MM. I am told that (incredible to me) these pictures are okay to post, but I refuse to post them because I have too much respect for real artists to post their pics amongst pics of college girls in the shower.

I'll keep looking. All Best.

The post was removed because it was a posed pro pic of a celebrity (Monica Bellucci).

I had no idea that that was Monica Bellucci. Now that I've experienced having several posts summarily deleted, including several of "Naturista Nerd/MIHI" after being up for several years (again without explanation or notice - poof, just gone), I'm less inclined to post and more inclined to lurk.
When a rule-breaking post only contains a single picture, I just delete it outright. Any member at any time can ask why a post of theirs was removed, and they will receive an answer. As for "Naturista Nerd/MIHI", Alex most likely received a bunch of reports for various posts to remove of her and removed them all at once.

Default I HATE TO BEAT A DEAD DOG- BUT...

I actually like it that Fango doesn't write "Pro Pic deleted, etc" all over the thread. One such deletion I recently posted came at the beginning of a page- so every time I had to add to that page- the first thing I saw was "Pro Pic Deleted" which is actually the first thing everyone else saw too. If a pic is missing- I usually assume the mods had a good reason for deleting it. If I'm curious though I just ask- and I've found the mods are very polite and helpful in their explanations.

One last point about trees in the pictures. If you look back at my first post I speak of those environmentalists aka "tree huggers" causing global "warming." Besides that joke, I ask potential posters to post pictures of their "Babes in the woods." I do not at any time say that every picture here must have a tree. So I am not off subject at all -and even those last posts Jim pointed out had trees in them for the most part. Like I say- keep it in the mountains and forests- but alpine zones, sub alpine zones, rain forests, and the lakes, rivers streams they contain are all good. We've even had nude rock climbers in this thread- and I enjoyed those pics too. Of course the greener the pic the better. Now let's quit talking and post some pics. I don't have any today...anyone else?

Thanks,
Mulder
