Wasn't she nice looking though? She is my hometown girl so to speak and I followed her from the beginning of her time in the national spotlight (where so many begin here in Track Town USA), and she stayed in the competitive running world for a long time. Simona Halep leads it off. You know, it was fun to watch the boobies bounce, but not only did the breast reduction surgery save Halep's career...I think she looks much better too.

She still looks damned good in the picture you posted. Thanks for your comments. It's nice to look back once in a while at the pioneers of athletic beauty. I don't want to go back to the old days. Athletic women are more plentiful and much hotter now. I'm extremely happy with the way things are. However, a tip of the ballcap to the gals we used to fantasize about is nostalgic, fun and appropriate.
