Someone once told me that several gyms in Holland not only have coed sauna area, but also coed locker room as well as coed showers outsite the sauna area. Does anyone have experience with that? It would be really nice to experience next time I'm in Holland

justified through my experiences with mixed saunas in Germany from more than a decade, I’d like to make a contribution to this thread.
I’ve experienced ENF moments with girls becoming red in the face and trying to cover up as well as rather obscene exhibitions of the pink bits in public.
I go out for swimming and sauna on a regular basis. I do appreciate the health aspect, the workout, the relaxation etc. when spending my time in the spa. Nevertheless, since it’s all mixed sauna and relaxation areas, I must admit that it is indeed pretty enjoyable to be in a room together with a varying number of nude women. Sometimes it’s “hard enough” to keep your thoughts and eyes off the topic. (yes, it has happened to me and none of the women around made a big deal out of it. The “worst” reaction was by one woman who left the sauna and went into another one instead –
so maybe we just tend to worry too much about what other people may or may not think about us…) Anyway, the thing that I have been noticing for years is that some women seem to consciously “play the game” - and this fascinates me.

According to what has already been mentioned here, some of you have gained similar experiences in mixed saunas. I mean, there are situations in which women make themselves comfortable - either sitting or lying - with their legs spread right in front of a male, despite an empty sauna room. I’ve already been in the position myself and have also witnessed it quite often. I can also confirm what 1guyinholland mentioned earlier in this thread; there are women in the sauna pulling their knees to their breasts while lying on the back. May it be some stretching practice or breathing exercise… I don’t know, but they just let you see everything. Why would any girl do that in front of a stranger? I’m pretty sure they know exactly what this is doing to a man - after all, they don’t live on Mars. They must have heard about erections, they know that getting hard in public saunas is considered indecorous - consequently they know that they get you into a scr*pe by putting you at risk of getting a hard on in public.

Please don’t get me wrong in that. I don’t wanna say women in saunas are constantly looking for mating opportunities; this isn’t even my impression. My impression is that they rather enjoy the teasing, and that it’s much more about the guy’s reaction than about intercourse. Sooner or later the woman will always check out the people next to her and, based on my experience, it never takes too long until she catches the first guy staring at the things she’s showing him. Of course there are women (often the younger ones) who would close their legs when realizing they’re just being stared at. I've been to a bunch of sauna's in Holland and Germany, and noticed a couple differences. Most obvious is that the dutch girls are completely shaved, while the Germans keep a bit of a landing strip. But on the to sauna dynamics...

Dutch sauna's are mostly full of girls who want to tan naked and spend their time in the pool / hot tub. I lived in Germany and regularly visited the spa/sauna complexes. I really preferred the smaller hotel or private community sauna houses. Although the larger ones had workout facilities which I would use on occasion. The one I attended regularly near where I lived had times of day for women only, men only and family periods. As most saunas in the Netherlands it is nude and mixed. Another favorite nude sauna is Sauna van Egmond in Haarlem. (Haarlem is about 15 minutes by train from Amsterdam.) Sauna van Egmond is somewhat larger than Deco Sauna with several saunas and steam baths.

Regarding the statement above (about the differences between German and Dutch saunas) I can only partly agree. If you go to Spas in Germany that have the entire textile-free floor, you do see a lot of skin outside the actual sauna rooms (hot tubs, relaxation areas, showers, tanning beds etc.). The number of girls who have their pubic area completely shaved has distinctly increased over the last years and is more or less balanced out to those keeping a landing strip nowadays.
