I like my naturism to be that, naked amongst others naked folk, not watching people getting their rocks off and joint in or wanking off. In the UK we call that Dogging! not naturism. Rant over.
Well, there may be an element of truth in what you say, but fundamentally, Cap D'Agde is still a place to live naked. However, there is no doubt that there is a creeping trend towards a crossbred textile / naturist culture. In Cap we will spend as much time as we can naked, shopping, at the bar and walking to / from the beach but we see many people who do not embrace the opportunity to enjoy the freedom the village offers. At 1664 for our morning coffee earlier this month, we did a count and about half the people were dressed in a way that would not have ben out of place in any cafe in any town, shorts, shirt or sun dress.

Like it or not, the influx of Libertine culture brings money, big money which helps the village survive and evolve. If you avoid walking the length of the couples beach you will avoid the shows and the seedy scenes of many single guys sometimes standing over women and masturbating. But in the village at night, you will not be able to avoid the fashion shows, sometimes involving fetish dress and which can sometimes be 'edgy', for want of a better expression.

For the downside, if your perspective lends you to that view, it would be a great pity to miss the opportunity Cap affords to be free in nature and enjoy the liberal environment that is inclusive, non-judgemental and for us uplifting..

A bientot!

Cap naturist is old news , Cap libertine sells web time . Not even sure if the libertine beach is on the site and not just next to it. The single men dogging si something thats getting out of hand.

The 'Libertine' beach is on the same site to the east of the Post Secours and the Paralia beach bar and restaurant....

Kind of thought it was in the reserve rather than ' part of ' CDA. Living in the area we're reguler visters but getting putoff by singlemen getting more and more intrusive.

By far the largest part of the beach caters for "true" (for want of a better word!) naturists; the libertine section - although the most crowded - is but one small part. As Johnny60 pointed out in his post, "Like it or not, the influx of Libertine culture brings money, big money which helps the village survive and evolve." I have long held this view - that the attempts over the years to curtail it is akin to shooting themselves in the foot! If they succeeded, they would be driving away the big money, libertines are far and away the biggest spenders in all areas of the resort. I tend to believe that the authorities have come to the same conclusion, the police - who patrolled the libertine beach for some years - were withdrawn, ostensibly because they were costing too much, but I'm sure it was because their presence was driving people (and their money) away. The resort owners might disapprove of the libertine activity, but they are in business - and no-one sets out to kill the goose that lays their golden eggs!

I visited the place and the impression I have is that during the day you have the freedom to walk naked, drinking your coffee, doing your shopping, all these everyday activities without the acceptable standard to wear clothes. You can take with you your keys, your wallet and a towel and that's Ok. Nothing unneeded and you have not to worry if your trouser is clean or if your shirt has been ironing or if suits good. Additionally you can admire your wife or your girlfriend or other men or women to do the same . This admiration has nothing the erotic. And at your everyday life you can admire mens and womens. This does not means that you want to f@@k everybody. I mean that you can also admire women and men much older than you. For me this have not the erotic sense but I admire the way they enjoy together the sun and their everyday life. This is very important for me.

If you want to swim you have the option to do it in front of the village without any hassles and without being bothered by something. If you want to walk to the "baie de cochones" the decision is yours, there is no one to impose you. If you have childrens keep them away. It s up to you.

For your evening walk how you will be dressed is up to you. You can get dressed or you can stay naked, or may you will choose to get dressed more provocatively. The choise is yours. This does not mean that you re swinger. Provocatively you can dressed and at your every day life for your pleasure or for the pleasure of your partner. At this place just because you're there all day naked, changes the size of provocation and the style there is more extreme. I agree at this conclusion.

Anyway your choice is where you will go and how you will be dressed without bother and without being bothered by anyone. And i love this sense of freedom.

Cap d'Agde, Baie de Cochones, Cap d'Agdes nightlife is not a place for childrens. There re too many other places to go. It s up to you if you will choose to bring them there. But after you can not be denunciatory. This is similar with the reactions of some people to the nudes sunbathers in my country. The nudists choose to swim at rocky inaccessible secluded beaches, there are some families who pass obstacles, jump from rocks, risking their lives to get there and then complain about the spectacle that their children saw!

Default CDA Nudity

Hi, we are going to Cda for the last 6 summers, the first 2 weeks in August. We also observed that the last 2 summers more and more women are not completely naked for walking inside the resort. They usually wear a pareo or some sort of string. At the beach full nudity is largely respected only some younger people with their parents wear a swimmsuit or bikini. Another think we observed at the beach in August 2013 and 2014 is that a vast majority of the women have shaved their pubic hair.We would say that +-70% have a fully shaved pubic mound and lips, the others usually have a small patch or triangle or have shorn their pubes to nearly stubble. Natural pubic hair is rarely to be seen. Inside the resort you can find several beauty shops offering full pubic waxing

Default Nude in Cda

An dutch friend of us standing in front of the beach. On this photo she has no pubic hair. She was fully waxed in an beauty shop in Cda. She wanted to try it and to follow the current trend in Cda. Having no pubic hair is very common in Cda the last 2 summers. More than 70% of the naturist women there have done a full shave or are shorn to nearly stubble.

2 pics of dutch Clari in Cda. Hairy and completely waxed. It's an dutch friend of us, at the beginning of the waxing, she was not decided to remove all her pubes but the esthetician told that it will look better with the pubic mound completely hairfree and she thinks that naturist women at Cda should shave or wax their pubic hair to be fully nude and to better expose their intimate parts.
