AMI ban for streaker

A brass-necked streaker who braved sub-zero temperatures to run onto the field during Saturday's All Blacks test against Ireland has been banned from the new AMI Stadium in Addington for two years.

But the 21-year-old Christchurch woman who stripped naked to entertain the sell-out 21,000 crowd during half-time will not face the courts.

The woman was locked up and spent a night in the cells at the central police station, and Senior Sergeant Scott Banfield, head of Christchurch's team policing unit, told The Star that he'd recommended the woman be charged with disorderly behaviour.

Nude woman strolls into Tesco

SHOPPERS in Tesco watched in stunned amazement as a naked 19-year-old woman strolled down the aisles.

Blonde Katie Wilson had no clothes on as she waltzed into the supermarket in Cherry Holt Road in Bourne.

The teenager was high on the legal drug “Benzo Fury”. The drug was blamed for the death of Scottish teenager Alex Herriot after he took it at the recent RockNess festival.

The shop assistant, of Deeping St James, recalled: “Apparently, I trotted about a mile to the supermarket down quite a busy road absolutely naked.

“I remember vaguely waltzing into Tescos like in a dream. I was skipping and prancing up the aisles waving my arms like a fairy and shouting at the staff.”

Katie added: “It is horrifying to think how many people saw me naked.”

Police arrest woman, 35, who stripped naked at busy intersection

A 35-year-old woman was arrested after stripping down at an intersection and exposing herself to drivers and passersby.
Tracy Mabb, from Florida, stood at the Pompano Beach intersection on Tuesday around 5.40pm and began to take off her clothes.
According to the Sun Sentinel, she pulled her long shirt up in front of drivers and pedestrians and exposed everything, including her breasts, buttocks and genitals.

Canadian students in tuition fee row stage naked protest to disrupt Montreal Grand Prix

If these students were looking to foster publicity for their cause, they may just have succeeded.
Hundreds of protestors - many of them naked - flooded Montreal city centre last night to demonstrate against planned tuition fee rises.
They were attempting to disrupt the celebrations surrounding this weekend's Montreal Grand Prix by crashing a Formula One party for F1 officials and teams.
The protest turned ugly when police confronted the protestors with stun grenades and truncheons, and used pepper spray to disperse the crowds.

The so called Buxom Bandit handed herself in to Police this morning after terrorising local service stations with her distracting robbery methods. Carrying a serious looking knife and wearing a revealing top to distract the poor cashier, she earned the nickname when she held up a local petrol station 3 days ago but has now handed herself in. Cashiers everywhere are no doubt breathing a sigh of release as she faces life in prison for armed robbery.

National Gallery puts on a peep show with Mark Wallinger's nude Diana

The room is in complete darkness. As you fumble your way around, eventually you become aware that at the centre of the space is a room within a room, a second structure. You feel your way around it, and finally you find a window. The glass is opaque, but a corner of it is broken, and you place your eye against it. You can see into a bathroom. D****d in an armchair, or soaping herself in the bath, or cleaning her face at the mirror, is a naked woman caught in a live act. As you move around the outside of the room, you find other apertures: you stoop down to look through a keyhole, or peer through a chink in Venetian blinds. It is an utterly strange experience that turns the visitor into a voyeur, a peeping tom....

There are six participants in the Wallinger artwork, each called Diana in real life, because, he said, the name itself carries such a strong residue of mythology, up to and including that object of prurience and voyeurism Diana, Princess of Wales. Wallinger's Dianas were found, he said, through female acquaintances and Twitter. "In a funny way, the first three especially have already formed something of a sisterhood." At its preview viewing, the woman in the bathroom was wearing only jewellery – a way of "making the naked seem more naked," said Wallinger, who talked of Manet's masterpiece Olympia, in which a woman lies on a couch nude but for a necklace, bracelet and ornaments in her hair.

Nude Butte woman hit boyfriend's car

Anaconda police arrested a 42-year-old Butte woman accused of driving drunk and ramming her boyfriend’s car Friday near Pintler Pets east of town.

Mary Corley is charged with drunken driving and two counts of disorderly conduct, all misdemeanors.

Officers pulled Corley over heading eastbound on Highway 1, just west of Opportunity. Chief Tim Barkell said she was naked, and tried running off into traffic.

Nobody was hurt.

Corley is released from jail on recognizance, and will make her initial appearance in Anaconda justice court at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 7.
