I don't think it can be polarised as simply as "conforming to a norm", or of "retaining individuality - it is my belief that having observed the difference between the hirsute and smooth look, the majority of those who do remove their pubic hair have come to the conclusion that the body looks nicer without it.

Hi, we are going to Cda for 4 years now, the first 2 weeks in August. We would say that in 2013 and 2014 the majority of the women, +- 70%, have their pubic hair completely waxed or shaved. The others are trimmed short or shorn to nearly stubble, natural pubic hair is rarely to be seen.Around the pool at the Hotel EVE we obeserved many times women at their arrival the first day with natural pubes and on the second day they had removed their pubic hair. We think that many women in Cda do it after seeing that is very 'trendy' to walk along the beach or around the naturist City without pubic hair. There are even several Beauty Shops offerinf full pubic waxing.

No, it's not coming back, rather it stopped going down for girls. For guys the trend is that the hair is going down at the moment, we'll see how it goes.

But more importantly I have a problem with the "child look" statement, I've only heard older perverts state their preference like this, hopefully you don't fit in that category.

Actually, the poster you are responding to made it pretty clear that he doesn't like the bare look. He was speculating on what the bare look was reminiscent of. So, that older pervert tag doesn't apply to him at all.

I think bare will still be predominant among nude beachgoers and swingers. But it's pretty clear from the WNBR and Fremont types of events that there is a sizable minority that still has a full bush or modified full bush.
