While I do like videos I just don't have time to download them and watch them later. I access OCC almost exclusively via my iPad and that doesn't make it so easy to download movies via these links. I just loved your thread as it was easy to navigate and browse through your catches of the day.

Hope you can still manage to post some stills or high res grabs for those who are not able to access the vid's..

I am moving over to video because it is possible to get far more chances of capturing the girls than the still camera and the old camera was faulty and will not work in hot weather. I will post some screen shots in the next video post to see what people think.

The video camera was the only way to go, as there is no longer a good still camera on the market (no external moving parts and great zoom) that I could buy. I am sorry about this

The old still camera is in my bag, but unless the subjects are close and it is before mid afternoon when it gets very hot, I cannot even try to use it.

Here are some random screen captures from yesterday's video.

With the old camera, none of the subjects would have been close enough to bother with, except the old couple in the last shot! I know they are not great, but it's the best of a bad job for those who cannot see videos. The second shot is at FULL ZOOM and even my 'naked' eye could not see details of this couple, the heat haze also effects the quality of the shot at this distance!

Strip-offs and videos of women walking (and jiggling) on the beach are my favorite.

With a still camera, getting that perfect shot is really a matter of luck. You can't predict how people are going to move, when they are going to stand, bend over, or what. At least with video, you've got 30 frames a second (or maybe less) to get that perfect shot. Your odds of getting lucky are a little better than if you are manually pressing a button at what you hope to be the exact moment.

No, two and half videos! Two frontal and one from behind! It's them getting dressed in the photo with the old couple!

The beach today was terrible, sea mist turned into low cloud and the beach was almost empty. Better luck on Saturday, hopefully!

About the video/photo issue: One thing I always loved about your work was that often you were able to capture "the" moment. When watching your videos, I often find myself freezeframing very I think you would have taken a picture
