Howdy. They are in fact stretch leggings. We bought them from one of those shops that specialise in selling things that didn't sell well in the major stores. We call them "Reject Shops" over here. They were only $2 a pair and they are great for experimenting with. In fact we bought several pairs so expect to see some more creative uses of some cheap stretch pants . Brigitte likes to wear them when we go cycling... usually with a short top that just covers her pubies..... but you still can see her muff when she's riding.
