How busy is it this time of year? I'll be in San Diego Friday around noon and have the whole day off. Where's the best place to go to be around straight people?

Havent been there in a few years - boy do I miss that beach! At this point the "June Gloom" is coming to an end, which means nicer days all around. Beach wasn't too crowded during the weekdays at this point, but still had activity.

The area around the entrance steps or the volleyball net was generally straight, but it's somewhat sparsely spaced out. Just be aware of the climb down and back up - it's quite a trip.

Last weekend south of the trail it was about 80% male. North of the volleyball courts for about a hundred yards was much better. It does change from week to week nowadays. This Friday might be better than most because of the July 4th weekend.

It's crazy how the crowd changes from day to day. Often, South of the trail is 50/50 with guys and coeds. But then other days you go down there and it's all dudes like it seems to have been last weekend.

About the only consistent thing is North of the Northern trail all the way to the rocks that separate Blacks from Torrey Pines is 99.99% gay guys.

Great tips all, thanks. Are there any volleyball games or other things going on? Sadly my wife won't be with me which makes socializing tough! My only other nude beach experience was Haulover with my wife.

I haven't been to Blacks in several years, but a while back I was in town for a few weeks, and went to the beach as often as I could. I was laying out, enjoying what there was, when a small group of people came down to the beach. I assumed that they were just there to check it out, since they weren't really dressed for the beach in particular - but I was quite wrong. They went down to the waters edge, then came back a ways and set out towels. The girls then proceeded to strip down to their panties and lay out. They went in the water (well some of them) briefly, although I didn't get any good shots. Great to see some younger women sitting out in their (rather sexy) underwear like that. It's not obvious, but there are 3 women total. Enjoy!

This is my wife at blacks in 2016. We have a few trips planned for 2017. We do love the beach and tend to stay more towards the north end about 100 yards from north trail away from crowds at south end and the gay section north of north trail but that's just because we like a little privacy and her huge tits draw a lot of attention.

We do get a lot of single guys setting up shop 10 feet from us to see if we are interested who leave after they figure out that's not why we are there and we see you guys with gopros in your hats or carrying your phones to side doing multiple walk byes and don't really mind either but you are rather obvious! Almost would be better to just approach and ask to take pics as honestly all someone can say is no and I know my wife wouldn't!
