unfortunately it seems like the quality of many very good pictures has been substantially reduced by some of the overly intrusive watermarks

Unfortunately those watermarks are necessary today with all those silent lurkers, downloading the pics here, many times without hitting the thanks button and posting them elsewhere.
As i tried and made in the past a few times pics on the beach, i know how difficult it is to get such good hq quality pics.
So i appreciate al the efforts and results from The Obs (T-O) and know that without those watermarks we probably couldn't enjoy his pics today and in the future. So i look forward to see his new season pics, even if they have watermarks!!! And with the exchange between The Obs (T-O) and 1Mnue1 about tips, tricks, equipment and more, we could be looking forward to the best season ever!

I agree, exchange of tips is important, as the recent shots are superb!

I was always hampered with less than perfect equipment as you have to be willing or wealthy enough to not worry about losing or damaging your camera. I used cheaper devices, just in case, which is a shame as the subject matter deserved better. All academic now as I'm now in northern Europe without any beaches to photograph!

cool to have some news Pedro, sad to read that you've no more beaches around you now...but just to tell you that I'm in a simillar situation too...only rivers here and that's not the same that on european beaches

PS to mods : I can't give any more thanks to posts for weeks now, is this normal !?

Personally, I couldn't care less about some one using my photo's and posting them elsewhere, I also have no problem with T-O watermarking his photo's. My only criticism would be the reduction in size of the photo's, I never have and never will reduce the size of the photo's I post. I also know how hard it is to get these photo's and the chances taken

thanks for your comment and support. About the size of the photos, don't forget these pics are taken with only a 3 or 4 mpix cam, in hard conditions, so it's more half of cropping to get the subject closer (impression of) and half or post treatment and resizing to have a better visual quality.
Some post photos in a big big size, but you must look them resized to not have the sensation of looking an abstract paint...

and I don't think some want really make wall paper or books with my shots too

....

And, sorry, I'm REALLY REALLY busy for the momen,t with no www easy access right now....so I think that you'll have to wait a little more to look more hot naked or topless scenes

But it's cool to have a little speak here too
