The brunet was making eyes with this guy at another table, so she lifted her glass and he came over. After a few minutes they were chatting, leaving the blond and my girl to talk together. I sent over a plate of nachos with the same speculation as before.
When she figured out he was not the one who sent them drinks, that conversation dried up and he went on his way.
My girl looked at me over the tops of her eyes again, took a deep drink and smiled.
