Well it is a strange old world, although I am sure those photos are technically superior to mine, to me there is something a little 'too sexual' about some of them for my taste. Maybe others will disagree, each to his own thing.

I am the sort of person who gets his kicks from seeing girls who are as 'ordinary' as possible, just getting naked in public...plain and simple. I am not really into 'spread shots', but do include 'bend over shots' as the are frequent, as girls just forget that they show rather more than they expect, when not wearing a bikini bottom!

If you have more shots, can I suggest that you start your own thread for them, I am sure you will soon get a lot of like-minded fans there, very soon.

When cameras first went digital, I had an early model point and click type thing, and had quite a bit of luck shooting from the hip with it, at local UK beaches and when I was away in Spain or Greece.

You just cant do that now, they have all caught on, Pedros type of shooting is the only way I can see getting results. In fact here in Ireland, and in the UK where I am originally from, Phones are treated with even more suspision, at the little Naturist area I attend, just getting your phone out for a call is viewed with suspicion. I dont know if its different in the US but one you should check is the shutter sound, on my phone you CANNOT turn it off, but if its socially acceptable to walk around with a phone in your area, and you can turn the sound off, go for it !

They say a little competition makes everyone a better person, and so with that in mind, i took my brand new $24 Vivicam 15 purchased at my local "Mart-mart" out for a spin at my local beach. I did this because the recent Bronne-Pedro flair up got me thinking about possibly trying beach photography again, something i gave up back in 2006 for a variety of reasons. So anyway, I'd like to show you all the results of my effort today. It was hot. The beach was swarming with babes. I gave it my all (well, most of it, or at least, whats left of it). So.....whatdoyouthink, guys?
Go easy on the "thanks" button - this is Pedro's thread after all and I'd hate to "steal his thunder" on my first day out, heh, heh...

So do I admire Pedro more for what he does after today? You bet I do! I mean, I think I'm going to have to enroll in a course here or something or find a mentor out there 'cause I'm just not sure I'm ready to graduate from old fart tourist photography to steathy nude beach photography. Maybe if I hide this thing in my shoe and then go around showing babes how poor I am that I can't afford to buy good shoes without holes in the bottom:

pic 1: There were loads of hot babes in front of me going for a dip in the water. This shot should give you a great sense for what that was like, huh?
pic 2: Tons of fun in the volleyball area today. See the nude and topless chicks playing? Look up in the far right. Pretty hot.....
pic 3: Here's a good pic of the shade which is really at a premium on this beach on hot days. Just looking at it should make you feel cooler already. I thirst for shade. What babes...??

BTW, there were over a thousand people on this beach today, and i invite Pedro to come west someday and take a crack at it.

And on a more serious note, I see Bronne has posted some pics and that they are so different from Pedro's - many almost look like posed shots. They also delve into the "swinger-nudist" or "exhibitionist-nudist" realm, and often these types of pics cannot be posted at all in this forum. In addition, "swinger-nudists" and traditional or family oriented nudists often do not get along, period. So, I guess what I'm saying is this is Pedro's thread, and Bronne's pics are perfectly welcome at OCC, but perhaps putting them in this thread might just revive the debate that has been going on for years in the naturist community. We don't really need that here. Fans of Pedro's work and fans of Bronnes work will be somewhat mutually exclusive, and I can tell you that probably most beach pic afficianatos are adament in stating that it is the innocent aspects of the experience and of the girls that attracts them the most to these pics. So aside from the debate over pic resolution, there are philosophical differences between you two as well. As a member, I'd like to see everyone's original work, and that applies here too. But as Osreb and I and others found earlier this year, sometimes you just gotta start your own thread. And for Bronne, putting pics here that are so different philosophically from Pedro's seems to be an invitation for trouble, especially after the opening salvo about resolution. Why do all this unless you want to stir up the pot a little bit while trying maybe to knock down a king?

Now that I've seen Bronne's "work", I'm more convinced than ever of Pedro's superiority. It's classless to come on our best contributor's thread and try to pick his work apart.

When engaded in a hobby such as this you REALLY should get a better cam, i mean, cameras with decent resolution are not expensive anymore....

I am glad that I am not the only one that do not think that Bronne's photos fit here (although, I agree, any original contributor is to be encouraged here), I wonder if some Moderator could possibly move them to a new 'Bronne's original naked photos' thread?

I have to say that not all my shots are this "sexy" but at the same time i dont get those who say that its too sexy? I mean, when girls lay to sunbath at the beach they lay down many times more or less "spread out" the interesting part I think is when you can get pretty close, not close as in the jackass style shots where he has the zoom constantly up their vaginas, but i mean close as if you were actually there right next to the person.. And yes ofcourse, that can look somewhat sexual, a hot naked girl close to you has a tendency to look a little sexual

But i also agree with Pedro, but i like the mix of both close and just naked in publictype shot.
