I'm having trouble finding one's that aren't either (a) too easy in general, (b) too easy, given my previous one or (c) disqualified for lack of any interesting foreground.

This is a tough one, but not impossible:

Additional hints: the first is 1/2-1 mile Northeast of the one in the post above, the second is another 1/2-1 mile due north of there. Keep in mind these are kind of old.

That's a start, though it just tells you where the owner lives. The pictures are not in Thousand Oaks.

The first picture (with the plane in the background) was taken in the hometown of a celebrity who died in a plane crash.

So now we've come to Pacoima, if I'm not barking up the wrong tree, but what if anything in the original picture identifies it as from there, and why, beyond the fact that this plane was also crashed at some point, is the hint a propos?
