Yes, things did improve with my father. After a few wild years at college, I ended up listening more to my parents and followed through with my degree in elementary education (which I didn't want) and marrying the man they liked. But things got worse again, for several reasons, but mostly when I left my husband. However, a while later, my father left my mother for one of my former high school teachers. His attitude started to change after that. But I still mostly presented a different image to him than my true self. This allowed us to get along pretty well in later years.

Ferg, I can’t thank you enough for your amazing work on these pictures! Just WOW! So many now pop with new life! I love them, and am honored that you have this album. Several compete for my favorite. I was not shaving yet when that picture was taken. I tried to keep things neat but didn’t shave for many years. For a short time, I went for bikini waxing. I was turned on by the idea of such a session. But I found it to be much more painful than exciting.

This was right around the time I was really starting to be adventurous. But other than letting that teacher take some pictures of me, I was not yet used to posing naked. If someone else was taking this picture and asked me to get naked, I think I would have been excited but very nervous.
