Love the pics SS,
Bellydancing is such an erotic and sexy performance in itself, that these performers do it topless, is over the top!

I'm restarting this thread with some new pics I've collected during the last year.

Thanks

Those pictures at the top are of genuine belly dancer, prenses (princess) banu

Salome: In America, we have seen many of your photographs and there are several famous pictures of you with no top, just pasties over the nipple. Did you dance in these costumes or were they only for photo's? Who designed and made your dance wardrobe?

Princess Banu: In those days, in Turkey, dancers took off their skirts, it was part of the dance. I took off my top and revealed the pasties, it was my gimmick. All of my costumes were designed solely by me.

She also posed for a magazine in 1983...

This time a few vintage topless belly dancers. These postcards are all about a century old, from north Africa. It seems that topless was the regular attire for the belly dancers from that region in those days!

My sentiments exactly! Belly dancing is not normally topless, but - as these pics demonstrate - it certainly improves the genre!
