I go through phases with newsgroups. I'll siphon them for a while, but then I get exhausted from sifting through the GIGS of stuff I pull down and trying to name & categorize it, not to mention the poor quality of some of the stuff.
I have 30 or 40 main categories I archive my porn in (i.e. "Nice Tits", "Nice Ass", "CoEd", "PubExh", "BJ", "Skinny", "Healthy", "BBW", etc. etc.) with many subcategories. It's a holdover from the old days of IRC "FServing".
Categorizing takes a lot of time, but that way, when it's time to rub one out, I usually know exactly what I'm in the mood to see and I can find scads of it quickly. But I think as bandwidth and file sizes grow ever larger, making way for trading giant zips instead of single 100k images, it's getting harder not to end up with gigs in the "UnSorted" category. Still, I'm always amazed when someone posts some obscure pic and asks if anyone knows who she is and someone ALWAYS does! How the fuck do they do it??
Using "THE Rename" helps rename "en masse", but at this point, I have one 80 gig HD, one 120 gig HD, and one 320 gig HD on this computer and I'm almost out of space! (Gotta ditch the videos!)
Do you think that our sons will appreciate it when we die if we hand down 80 or 100 terabytes of porn? By then, I'm sure images will look 20 times better and they'll laugh at the clothing, shave patterns and piercings on the old 21st century chicks! HA!
