I think for me, my enjoyment of naked pixel chicks has less to do with the image and more with the situation. Animation allows the author to create sexual situations that just wouldn't work (not very easily anyway) with live actresses. So the idealized, simplified, and frankly inhuman recreation of a female body isn't necessarily the turn on, it's more of an "imagination aid" if you take my meaning- like an illustrated fantasy. The animations and comics Morphy does would probably take a monstrous dollar investment to try to produce in live action.

Defintately. That's why I love manga, in particular. There are few people in the world as creatively perverted as the Japanese, especially their geeky manga artist types. Take TAG for example -- if that story (revolving around a girl being brainwashed to play a game of naked tag across town against her will) was done as a live action pornography, it just wouldn't have worked -- would have been campy at best.


Sometimes the idea is more important than the realism of the delivery method.
