I'd like to pose a question, while the pubic hair trend seem to go and come between the 1970's and then go and come back now in present day, Can we assume this was in western countries ,i.e the U.S etc.
Was shaving a common trend in Europe to. From the pictures i've seen etc, asian women are always usually hairy, I think this is safe to say, is this a culture thing ?Are their any other cultures who generally don't shave? or. are their countries where women always shave? I don't know if this is the right place to pose the question , but it seems relevant .

Good question. Certainly Asian girls are more likely to be sporting a Bush. Definitely a cultural thing. I did a google search of amateur pussies to see what different countries girls are wearing under their skirts.

First up Japanese Pics 1-5, no surprise, all bush. Chinese Pics 6-10, all bush, but not as bushy as the Japanese girls.

Next up is Thai girls Pics 1-5. Count is 2 bush, 1 shaved, 1 trimmed and shaved and 1 trimmed. So a definite change from the Japanese& Chinese girls.

Pics 6-10 Filipina Girls. 1 Shaved, 1 trimmed and shaved and 3 trimmed.

I suppose one postulation has to do with the Western sex tourism trade in these countries. Causing a cultural shift in regard to catering to Western tastes.

Now to Indonesia, a predominately Muslim country.

Pics 1-5. 1 Shaved, 2 trimmed and shaved, 1 trimmed and 1 sparse bush.

Pics 6-10 Arab Girls 1 bush, 1 landing strip and 3 Shaved.

Both women AND men are encouraged to keep themselves clean and trim whatever that you need to trim... armpit hair and pubic hair for both men and women.

This is not required per the Quran, but the Hadith (if I'm not mistaken). There are a lot of Hadith out there that stresses the importance of cleanliness.

There is nothing mentioned in the Qur'an that doesn't permit the practice, and since it is essential for Muslims to be hygienic (as this is part of the Sunnah), I'm assuming it would be encouraged that Muslim women shave their arm pits and pubic hair.

We are enjoined to shave at least once every forty days. Except for eyebrows. We are enjoined to avoid eyebrows.
