Southern500, just to let you know, about Haulover and South Beach you are absolutely correct, Haulover is nude, and South Beach (from my understanding) is topless. I've also been told that since Lot 5 becomes full often, that you may walk south from Lot 4 and also sunbathe nude. The Rangers will patrol also watch from the dunes and any inappropriate will result in a court day in Orlando and a $500.00 fine; that is hearsay,I have not seen that nor talked to anyone that has received such. The further south you go you get into what is known locallyas "Boys Town", a predominant gay area; we stay up front. LOL

I haven't been able to get to Canaveral. I am from S. Florida and my wife and I go often to Haulover. Before Haulover became an official c/o location, it was overrun by drugs and gangs. The c/o beach is definitely a change for the better. Before the change, I'd have to drive up to Rivera Beach (an area nicknamed Air Force Beach) in Palm Beach County. Similar situation to Canaveral where it was not allowed, but 'tolerated'. On a weekend, there would be hundreds of nudists out there. Problem was the parking. You would have to park in a very limited area on A1A and trek through the mangroves to get to the beach. If you didn't arrive early, the parking was all taken. You had to park quite a ways south and hike north on the beach. Once the developers moved in, that area went bye bye.

I know this thread has been dead for a while, but I thought I'd update it.
Over the Covid months my wife and I have really started enjoying nude beaches. Don't know if the "covid lockdown" had anything to do with it, but our new-found "hobby" coincided with it.

My wife and I go to Apollo almost weekly now. The enforcement is pretty lax now. So long as you're not sexually acting out, the rangers leave you alone to do your own thing.
Parking is an issue as there are only 35 spots at lot 5 (The naked section). On the occasions that Lot 5 has been full (it's WAY too far to walk to the Nude Section) we park at lot 4 and walk about 1/4 mile and get as naked as we like. There are usually other "Nudies" there too.
