Excellent job Splotch. I like how the tension is slowly built up. Makes the big expose all the more satisfying.

The only issue I have with the character is that she in an actor. I have this bias in my head that a lot of Hollywood is plastic anyway so I expect even B actresses to have nasty boob jobs...

Nonetheless, great job.

The events of the first day filming stuck with Jennifer all through her long weekend. She replayed it over and over in her mind. Brianna's rude comments at her expense. The feeling of the air over her bare body. Worst of all the shocking sight of her body being exposed as the towel ripped away. She couldn't get the sight of her own exposure out of her mind. She tossed and turned in bed, that image looping in front of her eyes. It was like a nightmare, but it was real!

For years, Jennifer had been debating getting her breasts enlarged. She was terrified of surgery however, getting anxious over a dentist visit. It had always intimidated her. Now, she really wished she'd done it. Then nobody would know her shameful secret! In a way, now it was too late. That episode would air, and there'd be no undoing what people saw!

After three days she got a call from Maryanne.

“Jennifer, the director called me.” Maryanne explained. “The rewrites are done, he wants you in to film tomorrow.”

“Fine.” Jennifer said dismally. What else could she say? She was contracted to go back, though she didn't know how to face the people who'd seen her naked body. She hung up glumly.

Jennifer had read through every word of her contract. Sure enough, there was the nudity clause. It explained that she must be willing to film in any state of undress, and the company had the right to use her nude image in any way they saw fit. She had called Frank to see if there was any way out of it. He explained that it was an airtight contract, she could not back out. Jennifer could hear his annoyance. He was tired of her trying to get out of this, she knew that. But she couldn't imagine when the episode came out. Everyone would see her in all her A cup glory! She moaned in disgust at the thought.

The next day she drove back to the set. She saw Brianna talking eagerly to some of the other actors. When they saw Jennifer they all burst into laughter. Jennifer knew exactly what they were talking about. She flushed red with anger and embarrassment and turned away, walking quickly to her dressing room. What a loudmouth, she thought angrily. Of course the b*tch would be just waiting to tell everyone about Jennifer's shameful secret.

In her dressing room Jennifer found the revised script. She opened it and began leafing through the pages. She was shocked what she found. The script had been rewritten to talk about the fact that she wore a padded bra! In fact, it now seemed to be a focus of the episode! In a few minutes Jennifer found many mentions of it. Now, when Brianna ripped away the towel, it would show the shot of her small breasts. Then it would go into a flashback narrated by Gretchen. She would explain how she'd started padding her bra to get as much attention as Jennifer. It would show her buying the padded bra, going home and admiring her sizable breasts in the mirror. Then it would cut back to Jennifer mocking her for this reevaluation.

Jennifer sat in shock. What were these people thinking? Why would they make a show about a real person's private body? A sudden knock at the door took Vanessa from her thoughts. Maryanne walked in.

“What is this crap?!” Jennifer yelled to the startled woman, waving the script angrily.

“What do you mean?” Maryanne said in surprise.

“All this new stuff in the script, about my... body!” Jennifer said, reluctant to directly refer to her chest.

“Oh, that.” Maryanne said, understanding. “Well, initially the director was angry about the nude scene. He knew it wouldn't make sense, you looking one way dressed, then totally different nude. Then he realized that it fit to the character of Gretchen. Of course the nervous and low self esteem Gretchen would do... well, what you do.” Maryanne said, gesturing to Jennifer's large breast, which they now both knew to be fake. Jennifer, angry at the woman referring to her bra, crossed her arms over her chest and flushed.

“So, he decided to write it into the show.” Maryanne explained. “The writers and him agree that this will increase the appeal of the show, both for girls with body image issues and the men who will find the whole thing... appealing.”

Jennifer didn't know what to say. She just sat, pouting angrily.

“Well, I'm sorry, but you won't have time to read the whole script again.” Maryanne said, turning to leave. “You're on set in five. You're wardrobe's laid out in the closet.” Maryanne explained, walking out.

After some more sulking, Jennifer dragged herself to the closet, walking like an angry teen. She looked in. There was the trademark skirt and blouse. To her surprise there was a bra next to it. She picked it up. It was a dinky black A cup bra. She flushed, realizing this was her actual size. Normally wardrobe didn't involve underwear, unless it was to be seen in the shot. She blushed, realizing that she was about to be filmed in such a bra. But, what could she do? She was backed against the wall. So, with reluctant and clumsy fingers, she unclasped her bra, and put on this one. It pinched tight, a little too small. This flattened her chest practically out of existence. She held her hands to her chest, missing her padding greatly. Hurrying to hide hide the bra, Jennifer put the blouse on. At least under the shirt it was a little more hidden. Flushing, she put on the skirt, glasses, and headed reluctantly out to the set.

Another excellent chapter, thank you Splotch. One question: have Gretchen's breasts grown? She started out in chapter one as having a 32AA chest and now seems to be an A cup. It doesn't really change the story either way but I like to have an image of exactly what the character looks like in my mind while I'm reading. Perhaps she's mistaken about it being an A cup bra and it will be pointed out that it's actually AA... maybe she doesn't even realise just how small she is and always thought she was an A cup, only to find out the horrifying truth?!

That's a good point, thanks for catching the error. bra size is based on the difference between your band (under the breast) and the bust (right in the middle). AA is less then one inch, A is between 1 inch and two. So, for your mental image, but Jennifer (Gretchen) right at 1, just barely an inch of change from her flat ribs to her breasts...

Splotch, I'm over thinking it (as usual). Was just thinking how to make Jennifer's embarrassment even more acute.

Maybe an interview where a journo complemented her on how she had "developed" since her last show and she made a meal of her new looks, thereby trapping herself. She goes on and builds a bit of a reputation for her boobs, like Dolly or Christina Hendriks and builds up a male fan following wanting to see her bare boobs...

Basically, the greater the ramifications, the more valuable the expose... For an actress I think it's what her fans think of her?

The issue in the back of my head is a certain Pam Anderson. Everyone knows her boobs are fake but she still gets away with it...
