Yes, mysteries are fun. I've always enjoyed detective work. Now, if we could pull this off, that would be some good teamwork.

Check out the Sat image below. Where I marked the spot with the yellow pin is "x-nudism beach 2". Right behind it is beach number 1! You were right, Dixler - they are together.

I don't see the buildings on Beach #1 just now. I'll look more closely later. But, if we solved this, then it was some major teamwork, huh? Putting all the little pieces of the puzzle together from multiple sources.

As I said, my impression was that the two beaches were close together. The reason for that is because I thought I saw a posed vid on DailyMotion.com that showed the Beach #2, but as the camera swung around I thought I could see the blue building from Beach #1 in the background. That, and the fact that both beaches appeared to be on a river led me to suspect they were nearby.

As I said, I've wanted to know the location of that Beach #1 for years. Could the mystery finally be solved???

I had a tendency to bookmark those posed x-nudism vids on DailyMotion so I could have some evidence to look at and refer others to when trying to ID the beach. I'll go through those bookmarks and see if I can find the vid that is shot at Beach #2 but shows the blue building from Beach #1 in the background.

The first pic is from Google earth, taken at that spot I am calling x-nudism beach 1 in Kiev. The second pic is from x-nudism.

Thats all i need. As for the blue buildings - perhaps the roof is a different color. Or they are temporary. I don't know. But we have a match, Dixler.

one more naked pic showing the yellow roofed building. To the right is a domed or tent-like structure that is sometimes white, sometimes blue.

There simply is no doubt.

This is a bit misleading, but if you take a look at the archive for the x-nudism site from late 2002:

You'll see the same river, but with different listed locations. Where it says "Black Sea Coast", "Filaki Beach", and "Banana Beach", notice that all the pics were shot at the same beach. So, those locations must be fraudulent. In the past, I researched Banana Beach (Greek Island) and could not find a river. I didn't spend a whole lot of time researching it, but it was wasted nonetheless.

I know that some x-nudism were shot at Koktebel. But none of the Beach #1 or Beach #2 stuff was shot there.

I wanted to point this out because if I had bad information, it is possible that others might have had bad info. That may be why we focused on St. Petersburg initially.

From Google Earth? Do you have a link to it or anything? Because if this is an independently taken pic, then it does indeed confirm the location of the beach. Thus, the mystery would be solved.

Maybe Osreb can find more pics from that beach?

We lucked out because of Osreb, basically. I know a lot of these sites don't want you to know exactly where they shoot. I thought St Petersburg because of some x-nudism shots that were clearly taken on "The Dunes". But otherwise, i was just groping. I would not have thought to look around Kiev, because I had no leads taking me there. X-nudism was almost trying to throw us all off, but luckily, some guy on a Russian posting site knew the beach. Thats the luck of the internet for you.... You were right in thinking the two beaches were close. I wasn't so sure. And then Osreb pinched in with the all important city - in Ukraine, not Russia, but still - cyrillic alphabet!

Yes, it is an independently taken pic. Thats why i said that clinches it. It was taken at the location shown below in this Google Earth Sat. See my yellow pushpin titled "untitled placemark" (I tried to name it but couldn't for some reason). The pin marks the location of a photo also denoted by a blue dot. That was the photo I posted.

i can see a yellow roofed building just north of the pin. The blue buildings might be south of there and have grey roofs.

The first link mentions "Hydropark", which is the name of the subway station nearest the beach, apparently.

And Yes, I now see the Yellow roofed structure. It's hard to see as it is just a sliver in the pic!

I really have you to thank more than anyone for helping me solve MY mystery. After all, you brought up the question initially. I believe I once put the question up on Coccozella's board, and no one answered. I also spent an hour or so last year Google earthing the St Petersburg area.

Inquiring minds have to know. I call it "naturist location sleuthing" and have attempted it a number of times. i am most curious about these interior (non ocean) locations in central and eastern Europe that can get packed like sardines. Quarries in the Czech Republic and Poland. City parks in Germany. And river beaches in........you know where...

I once visited Munich and after visiting the famed Englischer Gardens (which was disappointing), ventured north to a little known pond and blip on the map, still in the city limits. Not expecting much of anything, i was blown away to see 1000 nudes (and yes, everyone was completely nude) crowded onto this itty bitty grass beach. holy Crap! It is good to know these places, and now we know one more..
