For years I said this scene existed, but now I've finally found the proof. It's an SNL skit featuring Sigourney Weaver, playing her Ripley character from Alien(s). In the original skit, which I saw when it first aired, Ripley starts to undress when they're confronted by the "alien" (which turns out to be E.T.). One of the other characters then says something along the lines of; Knock it off Ripley, we've already seen you in your underwear. Sigourney then sheepishly rezips her jumpsuit. In the original broadcast, she exposed a good amount of her white panties. In all subsequent versions, you don't see them at all. Why they cut it is beyond me, but here's caps from the original full panty exposure version.

And the sketch is completely removed from the version on Peacock (probably having more to do with the presence of ET then Sigourney's panties). It is the 10/11/86 episode which is the first episode of season 12.
