A Talk With Lisa Langlois I would have followed my instincts and turned down "The Man Who Wasn't There" because despite it being Paramount's big summer release, I just didn't see the humor in the script. And I wouldn't have believed the producer and D.P. on "The Man Who Wasn't There" when they told me that I would not be seen nude but in silhouette. imdb.com/title/tt0085892/ Trivia According to Lisa Langlois, this was the only time she ever cried on a film set. When a producer asked why she was crying, she replied, "The fact that you don't know why I'm crying is why I'm crying." She explained in an interview that it was because the managing of the entire production was a muddled disaster, and she had been forced to run around outside for hours in the cold, including running through filthy creeks, after being tricked into performing nude by producers. I guessed and added the bit about the day-for-night filter, because you can't film in total darkness - so almost all outdoor "night-time scenes" are filmed in broad daylight using a blue filter to simulate night. You can sometimes see shadows "at night" in these films even on moonless "nights". |

Here's a link to Lisa's scenes aswell as the shower scene. I thought the blu ray transfer could have been better. But so could the film itself.

Here's a link from a puff piece interview done in 1983. A little different attitude about the nude scene: https://www.upi.com/Archives/1983/08...9855430545600/ I don't know why but I think I liked it better in the old days when a young actress just expected to have to take her clothes off to get movie roles... |

You can't see anything. She might as well be wearing a big bikini.
