Good afternoon to all the NAP fans…and haters. I don’t usually respond to the haters, but TEQUILASUNDEA’S response/retort to Pedro sparked some interest…and I am bored today and feel the need to write about something, and this is a great topic.
I was intrigued by the BUTTMAN at Nudes-A-Poppin videos. When I found out the Ponderosa was about an hour south of Chicago I thought it might be fun to make the trip next time I was home. I am from Chicago, but in the Army (late 1980s) stationed at Ft. Bragg N.C. So Rose lawn Indiana was actually on the way home. I had not actually met the girl who would become my wife yet, she figures in the story a bit later. Anyway life goes on and I never made it to NAP. But I did met and marry my wife “Cassandra”. I showed her a few of the videos and she was intrigued also (she is bi). This like 2005/6. We finally make it to NAP in 2009. I think it was the first or second year of the Saturday “event” . Our first impressions: The Ponderosa was bigger than I thought lots of trees; the pool area is very nice. We are not campers but the camp ground area appeared to be pretty nice, shade and a bath/shower house. People do live on the grounds year round so there homes and mobile homes. The casual nudity was very erotic to say the least. The Saturday event was kind of a meet & greet. Most of the girls/dancers/contestants are on hand for photo ops and to chat with folks a bit. Some had booths set up selling T-shirts, DVDs, ect. I must admit we were not impressed by the 2009 crop of girls/dancers/contestants. Of course the male fantasy is 300 girls…all of which are YOUR type…naked and falling all over you. Well wake up sunshine! There only 3 out of maybe 50 girls on Saturday that we liked. I say we because my wife and I are very close on our tastes in women. To be fair, some were very polished feature type dancers, pro models who have DVDs ect. Some were the want to be’s. Others were the “overly tattooed” girls that some of you love to trash so much. Well opinions are like assholes… everybody has one. We enjoyed talking to them all, most were very nice and were having a nice time. To me the best part of the day was getting my wife to go topless. I was hoping to get her to wear a sexy sheer top and maybe flash a bit; but her going topless most of the day was so erotic. She loved the attention that was paid to her. It was very pleasant surprise to say the least. What happened on Sunday was beyond a fantasy cum true. Anyway, Sunday…the girls got better!!! The temp on Sunday before noon was unseasonably low; my wife was actually wearing a jeans jacket. They had to prod the girls out of their clothes at 10am and get things started. It was funny hard nipples and goose bumped flesh. My wife was like “oh hell no!!”. Well thank god for the sun! At about noon it got up to 80 and my honey went to the shower house and came back naked!! NAP got a lot better. I never knew about the visitor/guest/audience nudity! So cool. Now in case you don’t know the guys can also parade around nude. So be ready to see some penis, if that bugs you don’t go. If it was just the dancers and the show it would have been just a one-time thing. The discovery of my wife’s exhibitionism has kept us coming back. Once a year she gets to show off a bit. I love it. The next 3 years we have gone up mid-week, paid the visitor day fee ($35.00) and enjoyed sitting around the pool Thursday and Friday before the NAP week end. Now that was a bit of back round on us, kind of lets you know what my mindset is.
Now for Pedro…yes I know his comments were made in 2009 but this is fun. From the top. “ this whole event is a scam, as far as I can see.” Realy? How so? False advertising? Pedro go to the Ponderosa website, click the nudes-a-poppin link. Now find something false or misleading. Pedro you are confused. You seem to be a fan of nude beaches and of voyeurism of unaware “natural nudism”. That’s cool….but NAP is NOT unaware natural nudism. NAP is a gathering of exhibitionists and voyeurs, to every extreme and degree. It is an outdoor erotic event. Not Wholesome family nudity for naturalists. For the record there are NO children allowed at NAP, nope, not even member’s kids. As a matter of fact about half the membership of the Ponderosa Sun Club hates the whole NAP thing. Those folks start to leave with their kids about mid-week before the NAP weekend and come back the Monday after. I was told this in 2010 while sitting by the pool by a long time member. To your point about being “very profitable” NAP pays the up-keep costs of the Ponderosa Pedro and keeps the membership fees down. I do not think anybody is getting rich. $60.00 is a “complete rip off” to you? Where the hell else are you going to see hundreds (including audience) of nude women that want you to see them nude, that enjoy it and allow you…want you to take their photo? Outside in great natural light! And to top it off you can interact with the girls, have a conversation with them, take a photo with every single one if you like. Pedro how much do you think a girl would charge you for one polaroid of her with you at a strip club? I can tell you this, if you wanted a photo shoot with my wife it would be $500.00 an hour at place of our choosing. No not really just making a point. $60.00 is a bargain, oh and by the way that is $60.00 for a couple or single male. I think women are free, don’t quote me on that one. NAP is not a day at the nude beach or a nude resort where cameras are a huge NO NO. To your next complaint: “ the Ponderosa is not a nudist camp in the true sense of the word”…for 2 days a year you are correct. For the other 363 days a year you are wrong. Period. “As far as the 'crowd' are concerned, I think these are on the whole 'swingers' who either pay to get in and indulge in 'play' for their own enjoyment” and you know this how? Pedro that is a dumb ass statement. I did not call you a dumb ass…just that statement .How can you make that assumption? I am 99% sure you have never been to a NAP!! (OMG…this just occurred to me. Pedro are you a socialist who has a problem with the U.S. and capitalism? Do you think everything should be free and paid for by the government…even your voyeurism? )
As I said before NAP is an erotic event. There are swingers there, but they are in the minority for sure. There are lots of horny men for sure. But horny men are just…well horny men. Let’s go back to the girls. There is pretty much every size and shape of the female form on display at NAP. For the record there is no public sex going on, nobody is jacking off. Pedro I am sure you have noticed at the nude beach there are folks with tattoos and girls with boob, butt and lip jobs. No? Look harder through your telephoto lens…there they are! Sure I wish there were more of the everyday type girls in the show. They could do a better job of letting folks know that any woman can join the show. They do not charge a fee to be a contestant. And yes the show is geared toward the promotion of the exotic dance trade. As it was explained to us at pool side in 2010 the first NAPs were designed to promote “naturalism”… family nudity; in an effort to boost membership. Without going into detail NAP has morphed over the past 40 years into the erotic event it is today. Speaking just for us, we enjoy the public, casual, erotic nudity that NAP affords us. My wife can show off and I can enjoy showing her off. It is also very safe security is everywhere. In our 4 years attending we have never witnessed a “bad scene”. We have also met some really cool folks. My wife has a very warm friendly personality and looks great naked. I think Mr.TEQUILASUNDEA can attest to that (see attached photo) I think we talked to him in 2009. So come on down, or up to NAP say hi and enjoy! This officially ends my mindless rant….

Somewhere on this site there used to be a series of short (2 mins or so) videos from NAP 2009. I can't recall if they were streaming videos or if there were links to filesharing sites. Anyway, they were unique, original content. I can't seem to find them anymore. Anyone recall the thread I'm talking about? Obvious search terms aren't helping.
