EDIT: pic was taken June 13th 2010, on Aston Avenue in Santa Rosa. I don't know - its noteworthy to me because I travel, own a camera, and could potentially pass through there on the way to other events. The date is around WNBR time, so maybe Santa Rosa had a WNBR? EDIT again: No WNBR in Santa Rosa. THe mystery continues..

EDIT 3: OK, I got a new event here! Persistance pays off. Its from the Harmony Festival in Sonoma County, California. Its sort of an alt/peace/activist festival, but I haven't been able to find any more naked pics. Still, I will put it on my event list! The caption that went with these pics said "Harmony girls"! This is so exciting.....

"This afternoon I went down to the Castro for a coffee and saw this going on in the Plaza. The female model, an art student at CCA, told me she had organized it. She'd been assigned to do a public exhibit, and decided on this performance piece which was being videotaped.
Here is the online posting for the event:
FREE LIFE DRAWING EVENT ("FLASH MOB") (castro / upper market)
SAT 3 DEC 1:30-3:30 - It is at Market/Castro @ 17th street. In the Parklet in front of the Twin Peaks Tavern.
I am a professional art model (and artist) hosting a public life drawing class. This will be documented as a performance. I need people to participate by coming to draw. I will be doing a range of poses from gestural 3 min poses to 20 minutes. The weather forecast says it will be sunny.
All skill levels welcome.

(klondike goes to his closet, rummages through his old art supplies and takes out a sketch pad. Hasn't been used in years, in fact, not since the last time he took life drawing (as can plainly be seen by the first pic he opens the pad to)). Then he goes back and rereads Crispus's post. You mean its over?? It was one day for two hours? Darn.....)

Anyway, this is all very cool, and I think the woman is among a very select, very exclusive club of naked performance artists here in the USA. I will go look for more pics...
