‘Completely nude’ Boston woman charged after allegedly driving golf cart through armed standoff in Florida

A West Roxbury woman was apparently naked as she drove a golf cart through an armed police standoff in Florida earlier this week, putting “multiple deputies at risk for potentially getting shot at,” police said.

Jessica Smith also had a “distinct odor of an alcoholic beverage,” according to Florida police officers who ordered the 28-year-old woman to stop as she approached a house where an armed suspect on the roof was engaged in a standoff with police.

Smith ended up being arrested and charged with resisting an officer without violence (obstruction). She was released on personal recognizance.

Naked woman with legs bound together rescued from Florida storm drain

A naked woman was rescued from a Florida storm drain after a bystander found her trapped inside — with her legs bound together, according to new reports.

A man was leaving the India’s Grill on South Cleveland Avenue in Fort Myers shortly after 2:30 p.m. when he heard a low-pitched voice calling for help and spotted the nude woman inexplicably sitting at the bottom of the drain, NBC 2 reported.

Her legs were fastened together with straps, according to the report.

Fire officials removed a heavy metal grate covering the drain and lifted her out before treating her on scene, the outlet reported.

She was uncooperative and would not disclose any further information to authorities.

It was reported Friday afternoon that a woman was walking without a shirt on the walking trail near the Butte Civic Center. When officers got there, she could not be located.

Shropshire mum's Lady Godiva ride raises money for charity

A modern day Lady Godiva has ridden nearly-naked through her home town to support a suicide prevention charity.

Grace Oakley said she had been inspired to ride around the streets of Ludlow, Shropshire, because her mother had taken her own life in 2004.

She said: "I know just how heart-breaking and devastating it can be for those who are left behind."

And she said it was extra-relevant now, because of the effect the pandemic had had on people's mental health.

The ride, which lasted about 30 minutes, has raised more than £2,000 for Papyrus, a charity which focuses on preventing youth suicide. .
