Holy crap. This has to be one of the most epic "only one naked" pictures I've ever seen. There's gotta be over a hundred clothed people in this photo (and who knows how many more out of frame), all focusing on this one naked girl standing on that pedestal. I have to wonder what was going through her mind, being the only one unclothed in that room, all alone up there, the sole center of attention for all of those many, many people, every last one of them staring intently at every inch of her naked body as they drew her image. That would be an overwhelming experience for anyone. Surely she never thought she'd ever one day find herself standing totally nude in front of hundreds of people at once, and all of them there to specifically be looking at her body, likely for at least an hour or more. Posing nude for an art class is one thing, but this is quite another. Incredible.

If anyone has any info on what this event was, or any more pictures from it, please post.

Nude painting at the palace

Around 20 amateur and professional painters and draftsmen met today next to the Japanese Palace to depict three naked Graces in the best weather. This plein air took place for the ninth time. The artistic director Aleko Adamia was very satisfied in the afternoon.

He shouts “great and keep it up” to the three models, then the break is over. The covers fall off, the girls find their pose and everyone is grabbing pens, brushes and spatulas.
Aleko Adamia is particularly pleased with the 60 meter long open-air gallery, which gives the painting a wonderful setting. A few steps away, young artists from a Meißner school are drawing. "This is our 'Follow Little Hearts' project, where boys and girls can create on screen under artistic direction." He is enthusiastic about the response: "Family and school children are here every day, I would not have thought that it would be so well received."

While today's nude painting is already part of the fixed program in the afternoon, there is something new for the evening and the night. The models, who acted as “sleepers” in the afternoon, turn into “chilling ones” from 8:00 p.m., they are surrounded by the artistic hustle and bustle and numerous screens. Parallel to the current program (piano night with Ulugbek Palvanov and Andrej Lakisov), the night painting will take place from 8 p.m. to midnight. All visitors are invited to be there when day and night blur and creativity bubbles. Aleko Adamia: "When the gallery is illuminated, it creates a very special atmosphere."
