- so the tunnel connects multiple hotels to the swim and sauna center that is across the street. This is a public facility, but our hotel gets direct access (access is included with booking) to the locker rooms via our bracelets. Its about a 4 min walked from your room to the sauna.

Went to the sauna with my wife last friday (Belgian one)
We spent there about 6 hours. Would loved to have stayed longer, but we had some obligations in the evening.

It's a fairly large complex, so it always seemed pretty quiet, although there were plenty of people.
Also a good mix in age ... 25 -50 age range was a large majority. Which is a pleasant difference from times we went there when 65+ was a large majority.

Nothing that interesting to share I'm afraid.
Over the years we've run into some people we knew, but only vague acquaintances or local people we know by face.
Like parents from our kids school, a guy who works at the bicycle shop where we service our bikes and a few others like that.
We did ran into 3 female colleagues of my wife one time ... but that is as close as it got.
However, there are several people we know that also go to that particular sauna center.

Continuing the story of our first euro sauna trip, at SD in A.

After the initial mixed shower we wandered around sussing out the saunas and picking one to get started. We tried the hotter sauna first, there were a couple dudes in there already. I have been to K and V in Berlin and love both. I have also been to Z in Amsterdam and have had some great days and some average days. Never been to Ely in Rotterdam and your post makes it sound like a good blend of K and V.
