I get erect now and then when visiting a nude sauna establishment, but I have seldom seen a boner, and then only for a brief moment. The reason (apart from not staring at other guys) is that almost everyone does as me, i.e. they adjust their position to hide it unless they are absolutely sure that the cause of the erection really wanted to cause it and would like to see the result, but almost all of us will err on the side of caution to avoid causing people to be upset. And it is normally not all that difficult to adjust the position to hide it. And even if someone would realize why you adjusted yourself, they would also note that you did as you were supposed to, and would be very unlikely to 'call the cops'. In other words, the standard nudist approach to erections, nothing out of the ordinary.

Yes, definitely. Zuiver gets my vote. You can stay in the hotel and then go in and out as much or as little as you like. I went with my wife, she didn't know that it was a naked establishment, and had 10 minutes warning. She didn't mind, and had never done this sort of thing before. Us UK nationals are less inhibited than you might think, but still miles behind the Dutch and Germans.

I've got a story I'll post in the non-fiction- it was quite amusing.

I refer to a certain mixed nude sauna establishment in the Netherlands.

My wife and I had enjoyed a day on the sauna and spa. Very pleasant, lunch, wine etc. We returned to the changing rooms (mixed, open plan) and our lockers. Mine opened but my wife's wouldn't. Covered in a towel she sought assistance from the nearest reception - the beauty treatment. The lady offered assistance but the locker wouldn't open. Now, at this point I should add that the staff wear uniforms - fair enough.

She said that she would seek help. By this point I was dressed and ready. My good lady was busy applying various soothing treatments to herself (naked)while I gathered our stuff. There were several other people in the changing room at this point, in various states of dressed/undressed.

The spa lady reappeared with two gentlemen in overalls. My good lady was asked for the wristband which, by this point, I had. Naked, she pointed in my direction. I duly produced it, and the guys proceeded to try the lock. It didn't work, so they got their tools out (no pun intended), and one of then took the lock apart.

By this time everyone in the room had gone, apartfromus,and anyone entering, went to an alternative room to change. My good lady has by this time finished her solutions, and is merely standing fully nkd, more concerned abouther belongings. Then the (male) manager appeared, chastising the guys for the locker failure and apologised to us. I handed my wife a towel to cover herself.

Finally, the lock was opened. It wasn't her locker! Hers was above.

The wristbands are issued at reception and you activate your locker by presenting the band to . If you return to the wrong one, it won't open (obviously).

So by now she had be completely exposed to two middle aged, pot bellied maintenance men for longer than she was comfortable with - due to her own error.

She opened the correct locker, and retrieved her clothes. Towel removed,she proceeded to dress, but more items remained in the locker. The lower locker was being replaced, so the maintenance guy was at face level with my lovely wife pussy.

This I thought to myself must be one of the most sought after jobs in the Netherlands.

Of course all the clips you see are full of pretty women, because no-one takes video of, then uploads all the saggy old men. They are always there but certainly in the big, therme saunas there's a relatively good gender balance with young couples and pairs/groups of younger women not at all uncommon.

The changing rooms in the biggest places (where the sauna is just part of a larger leisure complex) have cubicles and men/women areas, but in smaller places you might just get benches and lockers and everyone in it together.

Then you have the lounger areas, often with cafes and bars, where you can sit watching the pool. Then there's the pool, or series of pools, where everyone's naked but you only see their heads and shoulders. And then there's the saunas, generally you will find these small and mostly empty though, if you're at a big complex that offers aufguss you might be packed in like sardines, squeezing cheek to cheek with strangers while other strangers climb over you to get to empty seats behind (great if they're attractive young ladies, but the odds are against you). Generally you won't often find a sauna that's empty except for one or two beautiful women lying flat on their towels, like in a lot of those pictures. If you do, I guarantee it will be full of creepy men within 3 minutes, and the women will either be sitting up, or out of there.

The showers outside the saunas are usually the best place to do your (unobtrusive) people-watching. Inside it's dark and everyone's hunched up, but in the post-sauna shower it's bright and all the towels and robes are hanging up on pegs.

Different saunas will have different profiles and as other people have mentioned, the clientele changes depending on the time of day. For me the best thing is that everyone is just so matter-of-fact about being naked, there's no staring, look-at-me exhibitionism or too-obvious underwater fumbling (like in certain UK saunas), it's just somewhere people go to relax, and a place that young women can feel secure in. Yes, guys will be guys but in general people respect the unspoken rules of the sauna.

Having not been to a nude spa previously, I referred to the internet and on-line videos to get an idea of what I was to expect. We'd not done this before, but we had done nude stuff before.

I've already referred to the excitement when my wife tried to use her tag on the incorrect locker, and the associated exposure to some maintenance guys. What I didn't refer to was my own personal experiences.

The lovely Mrs, is, what most would describe as a MILF. I'm never quite sure what the precise definition of a MILF is, but she is in her 40's - a runner (including marathons), and keen on yoga, 32a bra, UK size 8. I am considerably more liberal than she is, and although i don't parade around naked, I'm quite content to be exposed or walk on the beach naked. Since the first time at Spa Z, we are now both quite liberal, and my wife increasingly 'ce la vie' about her nudity, and on a daily basis she's visible to our neighbours most mornings - no curtains, or blinds drawn - no clothes for breakfast, or dressing the kids, and when she wakes and checks the weather through the window. However, that's another story.

The first time we went to the spa we went into a quiet changing room. i thought it was empty but there was a young woman in a gown opening her locker. We, that is my wife and I, nervously, chose a locker and started to disrobe. i couldn't resist though and checked out the other 19/20 year old, fit and toned beauty get dressed. she looked u a few ties, slightly nervously, but I politely averted my eyes, just long enough to indicate that I wasn't a perve, but there is nothing else to look at in the room aside from each other, and no mirrors. The other lady was fabulous, possibly the most fantastic naked girl i've ever been 2 metres from. Even when i was that age I never got close to any nude woman looking like that, bt there she was, a beautiful fit young woman naked and changing n the other side of the bench.

During my day in the spa, i sat in the whirlpool. The steps to get in are opposite. As you sit there, the girls are higher than you if they are getting into the whirlpool. You get a great view.

Also:

A group of 18 year olds, who were in with their girlfriends. The boys seemed to sit back and watch as the girls nervously went from sauna to sauna.

Anyone using the facilities has to get nude (aside from the gym) so beauty treatments, even a massage or a facial, involve going to the changing room to disrobe completely and wear a towel or a robe.

None of this is sexual, merely enjoyable. if t is sexual - don't go!

But sometimes you are lucky and a good-looking woman will join you in a sauna. Years sgo, in a medium-sizeded sauna-only place (ie no textile area), in the NRW state in Germany. I went there on a Tuesday early evening and it was rather quiet. I had the open-space mixed locker room all to myself. As I was walking dowstairs to the sauna level, wearing a robe, a good-looking woman was coming up towards the locker room. Mid-30s i guessed, with fairly long light brown hair, brown eyes, and wearing typical office clothes, a dark gray skirt, matching jacket,tights, and boots. She had a tired look, so I guessed she had just left work and come straight to the sauna. We made eye contsct so I said, good evening in German. She responded but did not smile and walked past me. I proceeded towards the sauna area, hoping I'd get to see her naked later.

I got into one of the indoor sauna cabins, a dry one kept at 90C with a bright light and had an elongated rectangular shape. Empty. I went to the third ie highest bench and lay on my towel close to one corner. I mostly kept my eyes shut but from my position I could see the entrance to the sauna. And after some 10 min lying there - she came in. Completely naked, carrying her towel. Pale skin, no tanlines, B-cup boobs I thought, small aureola. Closely trimmed bush but not shaved. She immediately went to the opposite corner and so out of my field of vision while lying. But a few minutes later I got up, rearranged my towel, snd sat down, so I could see her.

And there she was, lying exactly like this woman in this pic I found online (which is not of her, obviously, and seems clearly posed). Imagine that I'm sitting some 4m - 12ft - to the right, in the picture, and you can visualise what I was seeing. She just lay like that, relaxing and resting. She did not move for the 10min I still remained there. Then it started to get too hot for me so I left.

The place was starting to get busy, and i didn't stay longer than another two hours, and I didn't see her again. There were a couple of other attractive women, but none like her.

Actually is not that uncommon. Seen it many times here in the local sauna. Sometimes two girls, sometimes just one, laying naked in all their glory on their back. Most of them don't mind me joining the sauna. Some don't even mind laying there as the only girl and with 3-4 men.

I can subscribe that. In my country, mixed nude sauna is very normal. I've seen young naked girls with perfect bodies walking around the spa as if it was the most normal thing in the world.

But I believe it's changing. In the more touristic places, most natives are confused now if it's a nude or textile spa. There are more and more people, who are going naked but never unwrap their towel.... so sometimes it feels strange to be nude when the others are beginning to be like this...

Yes, I agree. It's a naked sauna, there will be naked ladies. Most of whom, especially in Continental Europe are comfortable naked and do not hesitate to lie down, stand-up- whatever. It could be all Male with a single woman, they are there to enjoy the sauna.
