I'm so glad you're getting a new camera. There are women from all over Europe that don't know it yet but they (or their tits and pussies) are going to get their 20 minutes of fame next summer because of you.

Five times zoom has been my standard for the past two years, as has been mentioned, the heat coming up from the very hot land is one of my main problems, bigger zoom will not make any difference, except possibly at the start of the season. I do not believe any internal zooms are bigger than 5 times optical.

The new camera (when it arrives) will have an SLR equivelant of 180mm zoom. Any bigger than that, will result in shake problems.

Those new Samsung cameras are both expensive and have an external zoom, as well as sand, they are not easy to hide either! So no good for me.

On a positive side, look forward to more 'new' shots in a day or so, I have found some stuff I did not post before....I think!

Here we go with an occaisional set of postings, culled from photos that I either did not bother or forgot to post. I will upload twice a week and may well be able to stretch them into next month or so!

There is the possibility of some re-posts

, as I am working from the principle of 'if the file is not edited in my collection, I have not posted it'. This is OK most of the time, but not infallable. Please do not bother complaining if there are mistakes, the new shots are better than nothing!

During the heat of the summer, I just could not always upload every day, and I think this whole day's shooting (two main sets of subjects) got overlooked!

Would it be posible (now that your sesson is almost over

I may put up a few 'best of' shots soon, but with 3000 plus photos this year alone (not to mention three previous years, all still on line here), it's a big job just to select them!

Maybe some members might want to post their fave shots here instead, and possibly comment on what they like about the subject? With a bit more interaction and more 'left overs' still to post, we could keep this going for another few weeks, until the warmth comes back!

You said once that you might post some pictures here that you originally submitted to Cocco a year after you submitted them there. If you haven't posted anything here that you submitted to Cocco, maybe if you still have them on your hard drive you could post them here?
