What do you think, when is the 2012 season due to start?

I think (unless the weather changes a lot), it will be worth going to the beach (for snaps) in about 8-10 weeks, or perhaps a little sooner. Last year started in early April.

The BIG snag this year is the fact that two seasons of operating near sand in 100F temps undercover has pretty much destroyed my camera.

I have been trying to see if there was anything that would suit my needs in the marketplace, but I have found nothing yet!

I will then have to see if I can raise the money to buy one! However, if nothing can be found, the money question does not arise!

There is a chance, you will not see the nudes on my beach in 2012, unless you come over on vacation!

Almost done posting new stuff now............................

What to do now......come back tomorrow and see!!!

I just opened the file to upload some shots today and realised........................THIS IS THE END!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here are the facts for 2011, as of today....

Photos 3150 photos posted, all original (but one or two enhanced by other members), none copied from the net.

More than 1,165,000 visits to the thread since last April.

1,137 posts by me or members saying thanks, asking questions or making comments.

Thanks to my followers, it was a lot of work, some big risks, but I am pretty happy with what I caught in my lens!

I will post some odds and ends when I get an hour or so to rummage in my HD, but that is pretty much it, possibly for ever.

This would be sad for your many followers but equally I'm sure all will respect your reasons if you not to continue.

However if it is primarily a camera issue I wonder if a number of members here would be prepared to contribute?
