I get a lot of photos from Flickr by right clicking and saving but can't do it when downloading has been disabled. How do you get around that? Thanks.

on my mac, I just use Grab (takes a screen shot). PC's have a print screen (PrcScn) key?

These days probably 10-20% of the pics I upload here have been grabbed. On the Mac, grabs are tiff files, so I just convert them to jpegs in preview.

Click across to the media tab, scroll through the images till you find the one you want, click save as

Firefox has a plug-in you can install called Web Developer Toolbar (addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/web-developer/). One of the features it has is the ability to enable or disable functions on the web page you are on. On web sites that trap the right-click it's almost always done via Javascript, so on the Web Developer toolbar click the Disable drop-down, hover over "Disable Javascript" and in the menu that pops out to the right check "All Javascript". Once you've turned off Javascript you can right-click the image and save normally. Be sure to reenable Javascript after you've saved since the site you are on probably won't work right with it turned off. It can be kind of tedious on a site with a lot of files on it but it's not too bad if you are nabbing just a few.

Flickr "disables" downloading photos by placing a transparent GIF file over them, so when you try to save by right-clicking, you only save the transparent ghost file . There are a number of ways to get around it depending on what browser you use.

In Firefox, it's as simple as right-clicking the photo and selecting "view file info." Then, click the media tab, and you'll see a list of all the media items on the page. About 2/3's down they'll be a file named something like "farm8.staticflickr.com" This is the actual underlying image; just click "save as" in the bottom-right corner of the same window, and voila!

Once I had updated Firefox this worked fine. Here are two more photos not previously posted, apparently most photos taken at Birdie Beach.

So yeah from what i've noticed you can go topless at almost any regular beach here with no dramas.
I assume there would be the odd one, but i actually haven't come across any 'clothed only' beaches(i.e. tops on)

Others Aussies here feel free to correct me or add your 2 cents on our beaches.
Yes you're right sal32. Bondi like most beaches in Australia girls can go topless at with no problems at all. In fact there are plenty of beaches right up and down the east coast where lots of girls to topless all the time.

Trick it to go to a populated area but further up or down the beach away from the main crowd and you're bound to score some great views!

Love to see a dedicated thread on the topic... Also I love the topless shots, especially the shy girl ones. Sure there are plenty out there! Even through there was a discussion on nude vs. topless I'm all for both even if just topless. And from my experience you wont have too much trouble filling the thread with genuine aussie beach topless shots if people are out there shooting it (there's enough babes taking their tops off if you get me...)
