Usually, when folks participate in something like this, the first thing they say after they've got their clothes back on is something like "man, I'd love to do this next year, too!!!" I'm still waiting.....

Maybe they never held it again because a couple folks got a little carried away at one point (see pic 4, foreground...)

They are street artists after Chalon's festival. They protested because of a french law voted in 2003. That's why this event have only been held once.

That other word having two endings probably is giving you "naturist" and "Naturism".

Klondike: Your cut-and-paste tip does work, but I was really looking for the actual letter, so that I could just type it to substitute for my "у" character, since I've seen some cases where things might be "spelled" both ways, and thought I'd try the same thing on other words - a bit like how we've seen Khan Altay as well as Khan Altai.
As to the "other word," I think yours, rather than being "naturist" instead of "naturism," is actually an alternate spelling/transliteration of "naturism," as is "naturisme" en francais or "naturismo" en espanol: "naturist" seems to be натуристы. Here are a couple of Ivans; sorry for the pubic pixellation in the latter...

These are pics I found thru Pennywiseguy2 at his Flickr address. PWG2 has got a great selection of favorites, and its been awhile since i combed thru them.

I disconnected my external drive (containing all my pics) because I think it might be crashing my computer. I dearly hope i have not permanently lost access to my pics!

these pics aren't very hot, I suppose, but the idea is. They are behind the scenes shots from the 1981 movie "Quest for fire". In this movie about primitive man back in the last ice age, most of the characters, including Ika, the female lead, spent all their time on camera naked. Now we learn that apparently, actress Rae Dawn Chong wanted to get into her character so much that she also paraded around the set nude the whole time the film was being made. So here she is with cameramen, make up artists etc, behind the scenes. Wish the quality was better....

Holy #$%& Klondike!!! Aren't very hot? To me they're on fire. And you're right, it's the idea that makes the images so hot. I love her nudity in this because it's a big budget mainstream movie that required--as you mention--full nudity almost the entire time onscreen. I think it's a fantastic example of confident nudity for the sake of art. Your background info makes it even better. Dare I ask if there are more behind the scenes photos to be found?

Actually I'll fill my own request. I found your source and then I found your source's source, so here are a few more from the set. I believe they're screen caps from a documentary so if/when I find that I'll post that as well. Thanks again for bringing this to my attention. Just one of those things for me...

The last couple aren't quite so "behind the scenes" looking, but I figured I'd include them anyway.
