The woman definitely isn't Rebecca Front, though I agree there's a slight resemblance. Her CV is online - not sure if I should post it, though it is publicly available - but if you search for 'persil' and 'blowing in the wind', which was one of the official names for the ad, you'll be able to work out who it is.

Actually, the guy who was the creative director for it recently described the advert on an Instagram post: 'This Persil & Hotpoint ad was a parody of BBC's reality TV show Castaway (2000-01). It was shot during winter on a cliff top in Ireland 😱 and was the first UK commercial with lots of nudity. The casting process was excruciating as I had to ask total strangers to remove all their clothing in front of me. I reckon if they could do it without embarrassment they'd be okay to do it in front of a film crew. At the shoot, the wind machine used to blow the clothes off the line 'exploded' and a flying shard missed me by an inch and stuck in the portacabin next to me. Close shave.'

Sadly the version included on the post was no different - I was hoping for another edit - and in worse resolution. But fun to know about the casting process.

It's getting harder to find TV clips that are not already here, but I don't remember seeing this one.

Apologies if I missed it!

This is 'quite' well known TV soap (Coronation Street) and BBC TV drama actress Nicola Sanderson, along with (the much missed, late) Charlotte Coleman (NN) in the 1994 film 'Low Level Panic' taking a bath.

Whilst we mainly see her very soapy breasts, she does us all a favour by getting out of the bath at the end!

Also, I'm afraid it is a different actress called Nicola Sanderson to the one who appeared in Coronation Street. I do have a couple of videos that haven't been on here, by the way, so I shall see what I can come up with.

I mentioned that I had a couple of videos that haven't been on here before, and I'm certain you've never seen this one before! It's from the UK TV mystery The Wimbledon Poisoner from 1994, and involves Melanie Kilburn (who appeared in Soldier Soldier, Peak Practice and Coronation St from 2000-01). The drama involved Robert Lindsey imagining ways to kill his wife, but over the course of the episodes a number of residents end up dead, including Melanie's dentist lover. The best scene in what is an 'unusual' mystery is Melanie's striptease scene, and one that stuck in my mind for so many reasons - and not just the obvious ones! Surreal is not the word! All I can say is that the sight of Robert Lindsey trapped hiding in a cupboard with Inspector Japp from Poirot (Philip Jackson) while Melanie does a strip tease to music in front of a shrine holding her dead lover's ashes inside an urn, before then using the said urn for somewhat 'intimate' purposes, while Inspector Japp happily dances away in the cupboard to "Guantenamera" is a sight that will live long in your memory!

Another video that has not been posted on here, this comes from the long running Welsh TV detective series A Mind To Kill, which ran from 1991 to 2003, and starred Philip Madoc, still known by many as the U-boat captain in Dad's Army ("Your name will also go on the list.") The series itself was more than a little downbeat at times (so no change from most 'tec serials nowadays), but it had it's fair share of nudity in it. This episode is called Game Plan from 1997, and involves two girls (names sadly unknown) stripping off to go skinny dipping on the beach after a few drinks. However, one of the group wanders too far away from the others...
