Dear Annie: My wife and I are lucky to live near the friendliest, most helpful neighbors we could ask for. They are a middle-age
European couple who moved to the States two years ago.

Here’s the problem. They have a swimming pool in their backyard, and when they use it, they do not wear swimsuits.

When I am outside, I simply try to look the other way and ignore them. However, when they see me or my wife, they almost always call out
to say hello and start a conversation. My wife is not bothered by it, and will go over and talk with them. However, I’m not so comfortable.

My wife says I am overreacting, but I don’t think I should be uncomfortable in my own yard. Can you help?

Dear Neighbors: You cannot stop the folks next door from sunbathing nude unless there are restrictions in your town. You also should not be
reluctant to use your own yard when the neighbors are out. The solution truly is a fence or perhaps shrubbery.

Back where we are from in the midwest of the USA it is illegal to be any place in public topless or nude. Even after we put up a 6' solid fence neighbors called the police. But in our defense the neighbors were told as long as we stay behind the fence there is nothing they can do.
Another older man on the other side of town used to go naked in his back yard with a tall hedge around it. Neighbor kids would peek thru the hedge. Old man Norton went to jail many times for that. Seems unfair that he was hidden from view for the most part yet kids and a few old ladies made a point in looking.
Where we've lived the past 21 years we've been lucky. We are in the country and the few neighbors don't mind us being nude. We even talk over the fence now and then.
Most people have sex with clothes on and in the dark. I don't think they were even born naked!

Well nigbo many of us are missing your stories about you and the neighbor. As for us we bought a small home in the city back in the midwest of the USA. Our days are numbered for going nude here in the Florida boonies. Been 21 years of being natural with no worries. Sadly more people don't understand that being naked can be fun and healthy without involving sex.
Even the two neighbor men and their dad in the next house say they are going to miss us....mostly Dollie and her boobs. They've been known to watch her sunbath and do yard work. Occasionally they walk over to the wire fence and talk to her when she's naked. She doesn't seem to even realize they are staring. Dumb blonde!

I don't think my 'situation' has finished yet. I am ever the optimist.

The neighbours have clearly realised what a big mistake they have made in alienating me. The husbands last email to me (ignored by me - I have informed him his email addy is now blocked) started with the words 'You have done so much for us in the past'. I suspect it was prompted by his more sensible wife. It is their loss - they have nothing I need on any front whatsoever.

The very words he used at the start of the email show me how arrogant and out of touch the guy is. It clearly shows he is thinking of their future potential needs with his choice of opening words. That alone pisses me off even more when his attempts at reconciliation are expressed in such a selfish manner. He has a very unfortunate manner which comes over in the words he uses in emails, texts and speech. It's as if he doesn't engage his brain to think of the effects of his thoughts before he 'communicates'. His wife has described this to me several times in the past as his unfortunate ability to read something in the wrong way, get entirely the wrong end of the stick, explode and make all around him suffer - then later on when he does see the correct situation try and smooth things over as if it was no big deal and everything is hunky dory again.

I can see a situation where the wife comes round to open up dialogue slowly slowly (there will be something she wants / needs behind it !).
At the moment she is keeping her head down presumably to comply with the overbearing arrogant nature of her domineering husband.
One thing with Asians - and especially male Muslim versions - is the importance of 'saving face'. He can wrestle with that forever. He's done as far as I'm concerned -- non-existent in my eyes.

One thing is for sure, I will still be pottering in the buff in my back garden and if they have guests who spot me - tough - it is themselves who have closed the door on working with me to let me know when they had guests so I could be more discreet. My patio area is completely hidden from their view - unless they peek over a 6' 6" tall fence or the pr1ck lifts his kids up (as he has done in the past!) to look into my yard. Somehow I don't think he will attempt that again.

Chilli plants growing nicely. Will she ever get to receive one??

Thankfully we've never had neighbors like yours. The next large city is filled with college kids, teachers, and doctors from every part of the world. All we've met are fine. Still as neighbors things could be different.
As for moving, we've suddenly aged and our kids back in the midwest offered to help if we move back. Also the few friends left from school days live near where we bought a small home. Actually it's a nice three bedroom place with basement and two car attached garage on 1/2 acre. Behind is a farm field and tall trees line one side.
Maybe we can put up a small privacy fence. Also there is a covered patio between house and garage. With a simple lattice fence in front we can sit in the nude and enjoy our final years.
Oddly once a nudist always a nudist. We still feel comfortable being without clothes no matter who is around. We'll just have to be more careful, like you. Still there are so many places around here in the country to go topless or nude for my wife. She sometimes forgets and removes her top in places she shouldn't. In all our years we've had very few complaints or problems. Luck and not making it seem indecent helps.
Good luck with the Chilli plants and your garden. It' relaxing watching things grow, whether in the buff or fully dressed.

Spotted her hubby in the garden the other day with his head in his hands. Looks like he is getting some grief !!

I can guess where it is coming from and the reason - his wife, and the fact she is returning to full time work in September.
This will leave her 2 young kids aged 4 & 2 at nursery school & the inevitable problems of fitting in school runs morning and afternoon with work commitments. The wife next door is a barrister and this involves court appearances. In the past, my wife has helped her out with this sorting kids out - but this can become somewhat of a chore when you are dropped on at the (usually) short notice.

Spotted her coming out of the neighbours house across the road on Saturday - 6 pm. I was waiting for a taxi with my daughter & grandkids. She waved & smiled, I waved back.

I guess she is now scouting for a new neighbour to put on for the times when she is needing help with kids collection etc.

Seems the only time she comes out now to the garden with the kids is when hubby is home. Must have put his foot down and being a muslim she HAS to obey - or else.

So, yesterday being a sunny day and my lawns want cutting, I did my back lawn in the buff with my 7" dangler. Spotted next door wife peeping from her part opened bathroom window (hubby out at work). She dived back when she noticed I had seen her.

No repercussions so far !!

Nice photos. In all the years I watched the young neighbor gal back home and we've been nude here in Florida I don't think any of us got photos.
In fact during most of our games and the places Dollie wears little or nothing I am too busy to take many photos. The ones I do take are at special events and usually because others are taking pictures.
It's nice to see people do get pictures of sexy things happening.
Your neighbor does have a nice smooth play area.
She sure looks a lot like an ex-neighbor of ours.

Well, weather has been kind for this time of year in UK and twice in the last 10 days I have been out cutting the back sunny lawn in the buff with my 7" dangler - knowing wifey next door is home.

Both times she has been peeping from her partly open bathroom window. Again no repercussions so far.
