While she did spend a few years in towns during her college years, my parents returned to living in farm houses until I was about 6 years old, when we moved to a small town. This is to explain why she wasn't in the habit of closing her bedroom curtains when dressing or undressing.Until one day she was getting dressed and happened to look out the window to see two of the neighbor boys looking up at her. I'm curious how you heard this story- did your mom tell you about neighbor boys watching her undress? Would have been interesting to have heard it from one of the guys years later!

My great aunt (my grandmother's sister) lived out in the country in a house that was uphill from a smaller home just below. That family had 8 children in a 2 bedroom home that had been a tenant farm house on a much larger farm. Some evenings the entire family--parents and kids from 6 to 16, I guess---would come out in the back yard and they would dip water from the well and wash in it. My great aunt forbid us from going down there to peek --and told me the father would shoot anyone caught peeking--but I could clearly see them in the yard from about 100 yards. I would sneak out and look from her property but I couldn't see much but I even brought friends along when I was about 11 or 12. About all you could tell from that distance was who had reached puberty from the patch of pubic hair and who had not.

They did this year-round---but in the colder months when the days were shorter, they would be doing it in the dark. The summer days would stay daylight until almost 9 so they bathed in the daylight. Each person would soap themselves up then someone else would pour a bucket of water over them---it was a quick bath and happened once or twice a week. The great aunt lived about 8 miles from town so I never went to stay overnight just with my parents to visit and sometimes take her a meal. I would guess I caught the family bathing about 5 or 6 times before I left for college. The kids went to school with me but I didn't really know them.

I just thought it strange because my family was so strict about nudity in the home.

I believe it was here at OCC in this or a similar thread, someone used the term "plausible deniability".
I think that term fits the mindset of my wife perfectly, and probably your wife as well.
I got to thank that person, as he precisely nailed my wife with that term.

Maybe your wife yearns to be seen naked, yet needs to be innocent of any hint of exhibitionism, as does my wife.

That is, my wife would never, ever consider flashing anyone. Too overt.
Becomes hurt and upset if the word exhibitionist is ever mentioned in regard to her lack of clothes.

Yet she thinks nothing of being topless or nude at a beach where others aren't.
Yet she runs around the patio and back yard like it's a nude resort, knowing neighbors can see thru bushes and from 2nd floor windows.
Yet has been surprised while sunning nude by neighbors and friends coming thru back gate, but won't lock it.
Yet she walks the dog for miles in residential areas wearing thin-worn-out T-shirts with no bra, and pretty big hangers swaying.
Yet she seldom closes the blinds, etc. etc.

Yep, Plausible deniability.

Well, I didn't hear it from her directly. I managed to overhear it when she was having coffee with one of our relatives in the same town. Never found out who those boys were because there were at least 5 houses nearby with kids, so it doesn't narrow it down any. Could have been any of them... hell, if it had been going along long enough, it could have been all of them at some point or another.

My wife sleeps nude and walks around naked in the morning before she goes to work. When we moved into our house, on of the windows in the kitchen didn't have a curtain and we never bothered to put one up. She makes coffee, gives our cat food, etc in the kitchen before work while naked. Our neighbor has a window directly across from ours and the husband leaves for work early. One day my wife said she noticed that their window had always been open but now there is a lot of stuff blocking. I asked if she thought maybe they saw her naked. She said she didn't care and if they didn't want a show they shouldn't be looking in our window.

That's hot!

Glad to say, my own lady carries on in a very similar way. So long as she has time enough on her hands, many mornings she'll often arrive in to the kitchen (following her shower) wearing nothing but the towel on her head! She'll put on some toast (or even sometimes iron a blouse) before returning back to the bedroom to get dressed.

Of course, far from being bothered by this behaviour, I actively encourage it. ;-)

My college girlfriend (now wife) would walk around our apartment fully nude. We lived on the bottom floor of a large apartment complex just a few miles from campus so most the tenant where other students.

One day I came home and there she was, laying on the floor with her pillow and blanket, nude, spread eagle with her firm brown ass towards the patio window and a book in her hand. I could only wonder who walked by that day as our apartment patio was also a few yards away from the pool. I did notice that the lawn care guy had a smile on his face when I walked back outside to retrieve my camera so I put two and two together.

I came back in the house and took several photos and some has since been circulated so I don't mind sharing the most popular one here with you guys and gals.

Couple years back my wife and i helped my her sister with some home repair stuff. We had dinner plans after so my wife left ahead of me to get ready, i stayed to pack up the tools. We said our goodbyes, she said she was going to shower and meet us at the restaurant. I pulled about half way down the driveway, turned off the car and walked back to the house. It's a wooded lot, long driveway, dark and the house was lit up.

I could see easily into the house and the bathroom but didn't see her. I waited and waited, my heart racing. Finally she came into view completely naked. I stood and watched for as long as i could. Watcher her shower, dry off and start dressing.

I had a little explaining to do when i got home as to what took me so long (um, needed to stop for gas?) but it was well worth it!
