Thanks, I actually had forgotten this clip! You know, for someone who's reluctant to expose herself, Natalie Portman does it kind of a lot. That's actually weirdly hot in it's own way, like she gets embarrassed after the fact or something.

There is a scene in the 2001 version of the movie "13 Ghosts" where one of the ghosts attacks Shannon Elizabeth with knives or sharp nails or something like that, and shreds her clothes for several seconds, cutting long strips into them and revealing her skin underneath, before Shannon's character is pulled to safety by Tony Shaloub's character and one of the other characters.

Disappointingly, but not unexpectedly (considering how mainstream the movie was at the time), there's no nudity, not even a nip slip. In fact, Shannon's character is wearing some sort of sports bra that miraculously escapes the ghost's clothes cutting actions, unscathed. Even her jeans suffer rips and tears. The whole thing is hard to believe, considering horror movies having similar scenes.

And this is a movie made only a couple a years after "American Pie", where she was starkers, throughout. She got a title credit in this film - perhaps in part due to her fame from that "Nadia" character. It still bugs me how I expected even a small morsel of skin in that scene, and it was dumbed down to less than rated PG.

Here she is in Hotel Chevalier. She's talked about this film being the reason why she will never do another nude scene. She really is rather uptight (which only makes the nudity better). I was shocked when she did that masturbation scene in Black Swan.

It's not just Disney, most entertainment companies fall under the hegemony of "woke" 3rd wave feminism, in which objectifying and humiliating a woman (any woman) is obviously always considered bad. But objectifying and humiliating a man is seen as an "inversion of the patriarchy," so in their minds the double-standard is justified. Ah yes, the Jackal scene. The character is actually stripped to a real bra. Though you are right! There's a shot of one of the cups having been pulled down and a strip of her shirt conveniently covering everything. I'm usually not into overly violent/bloody stripping but I always kind of liked the scene. It just always went by a little too fast and quickly ended, IMO. But the purpose was probably to be more scary than sexy.
