So ive been coming here for years. This is a great site.

Im dissapointed in you.

Your empathy is admirable but I cant agree.

You should have ads on this site. Not intrusive disgusting pop up infect your computer stuff but some non intrusive sideline ads. Or even the occasional friend finder popup is not so bad when so much is here.

It takes money to maintain the server not to mention the labor in management.

Its high tiime you come to the modern age and put some ads on this site. I think many members will agree that it would not be a problem.

This is the first time I've ever had anybody ask to see more ads here.
I was under the impression that most people would prefer a clean layout like ours with the ads.

Over the years, we've been trying to limit the ads for random paysites to a minimum. Most of the time, we are able to cover all of our expenses by using the money we get from One Click Pass memberships.

You are correct when you said, "It takes money to maintain the server not to mention the labor in management."

The forums alone use several servers and an enormous amount of bandwidth.
Usually our members download over 400GB of files each day.

Our moderators do a great job at keeping the forums free of SPAM in people's posts.
Personally, I'd rather keep the forums running without outside marketing while we can afford it.

I'd be curious how other's feel about placing more ads here.

Im not looking for ads. Im thinking of your efforts. Its great to see a site without ads. But ads today dont interfere like they used to. Some can but most dont. Plus you deserve it.

You realize "wth" was tongue in cheek. But I am serious that you should put ads here.

There is no indifference from me, I personally dont like ads on sites. Ads interfere with the look and quality of a board. Even Adwords is annoying.

I think we all accept that ads create income for the site, as long as people click on them.

I'm sure that the majority of people would agree that we dont need ads on OCC.

I agree with Alex. You and your fellow mods are doing a fine job running this site. I switched from another site because their ad interferences increased dramatically. The quality of posts went to hell too.

I appreciate the simple layout so I can focus on posting hotties, viewing hotties, and thanking contributors.

I appreciate everyone's opinion on this. I think we will try to keep the forums "ad free" as much as possible.

Every once and a while, this kind of topic gets discussed between me and the moderators. My first impulse is to try to make our community "richer" with more people making contributions by posting here, rather than just focusing on the mighty dollar. It's sort of my "build it and they will come" philosophy.

There are two ways people can make this site a better place.

First and foremost, get involved with sharing and posting. Upload some photos. Use the "Thanks" button. Post a supportive comment if you like what you see. We've always tried to keep a friendly atmosphere here.

Second (and this is for all you lurkers out there) if you don't have anything to contribute, that's okay. Consider getting a One Click Pass and that will help us keep everything running smoothly here. We want to always keep the photos free. Right now there are more than 1.3 million photos for any registered member to download. I honestly don't know of many other sites that offer that much free porn.
