Default Converting files

I'm looking for a program to convert wmv files into mpeg or avi files. Thanks in advance.

Thanks!

I need some help using the program. When do you know when the file is fully converted? For some reason the audio is not converting. Could you provide me instructions on how to use the program correctly?

You pretty much just drag your file into the playlist, set your settings and convert it. If the audio isn't converting that's probably a problem with the WMV file, not the program. Try converting your file to WAV and see if that makes sound. If it does, you may just have to combine the two files (AVI/MPG and WAV) after converting.

I lost you at "you may just have to combine the two files (AVI/MPG and WAV) after converting."

Using another program I mean (I use Vdub for AVIs and Tmpgenc for MPGs). To be honest, you might want to get a second opinion on this one. I'm really not as technically savvy as I appear to be.
