Default Hospital Peep Show

Last week I had a colonoscopy done at a local hospital that required anaesthesia. It was about the sixth time I've had something done in that hospital over the last couple of years, so I'm pretty familiar with the routine. The prep room in the colonoscopy area is about 24' x 30'. There are two partitioned 6' x 8' deep patient areas across the aisle from each other where the beds face out. The narrow areas beside the bed are filled with tables on rollers for equipment and such, so it is easier to use the space at the foot of the bed for sitting. A 4' wide inadequate curtain doesn't quite cover the opening facing the aisle. The procedure requires being naked under a hospital gown with one tie at the neck that leaves your backside exposed. The cubicles may have a privacy curtain, but the reality is that there is no privacy.

The staff folks, nurses aides and such, are always walking in and out. They never close the curtains. The first time I had to deal with the self important busy-busy staff, I objected to their lack of courtesy. The response is that they see a dozen naked people every day in the course of their jobs, so get over it. I pointed out that many non medical folks wander the hallways, like janitors and food delivery people. Ultimately, I quit caring.

Last week, as I sat in the waiting area, an attractive mid forties woman took a seat directly across from me. We were the only people in the waiting area. She was more pleasant and friendly looking than beautiful. It was a very warm day and the lady was dressed for the weather. She was wearing a sleeveless yellow sun dress that was held up by elastic above her bust. It could have served as a beach cover-up. From below the bust, the dress flared out. The hem was several inches above her knee. When she sat down, the hem was only a few inches below her crotch. Without even trying, I could see that she was wearing pantyhose. A tan diamond shape crotch panel was clearly visible from my vantage point 8' away.

In truth, the dress she was wearing was better suited for younger women. While attractive, the lady's waist was a touch thick and her fairly large bust was testing the strength of the built-in support. Overall though, she was a pleasant addition to the waiting room. When she turned to reach a magazine on a side table, her knees spread wide for a few seconds. She then looked right at me, saw me looking and smiled. She knew I could see up her dress but didn't seem to mind. We commented on the weather and how much we disliked the colonoscopy prep procedure. We had a quick temporary bond as fellow victims of the medical world.

I got called into the prep room and got into my gown. At about the time that my temp had been taken and blood pressure checked, the woman from the waiting room was ushered into the prep room across the aisle from me. I was sitting on the end of my bed, just waiting to be moved to the treatment room. Across the aisle, one of the staffers laid a gown and slippers on the bed. The woman pulled the curtain across the opening to undress.

Just as the lady was pulling her dress over her head, the staffer pulled the curtain aside. She hung a big plastic bag on a wall hook for storing clothes and personal items. She explained to the lady that she needed to write her name on a label to stick onto the bag. She gave the lady a marker and held out a clip board to write on. All this with the curtain wide open and the lady in her pantyhose, her ample breasts exposed, with people walking by.

The staffer left and, of course, did not pull the curtain closed. The lady sat on the end of the bed and started pulling her pantyhose down. Wow! No panties. When she got the waistband below her butt, she laid back onto the bed and pulled her knees up near her breasts. I almost had a heart attack. From where I was sitting to the end of her bed was maybe 12'. I was staring at her fertile crescent, from her purple-ish anus to her closely trimmed pubic hair. The lady was an "outie". Her labia minora and hood were very prominent. Her folded up position caused her tummy bulge to wrinkle, but I had an unimpeded view of her brown, purple and pink bits. It only took ten seconds to get her pantyhose over her feet, but it was as if time stood still.

As I was staring at the lady, a nurse stuck her head into my area to tell me that I was about ten minutes away from being rolled into the treatment room. She noticed me staring and looked across the aisle. She told me to put my eyes back in my head. I was surprised that she didn't pull the lady's curtain closed in a sisterly gesture, but she didn't. The lady stood up to put on her gown and slippers. For a moment, the naked lady was facing me. Except for her little tummy bulge and what looked like child birth stretch marks, she had a very nice body. It was not quite the ideal "hourglass", but it was a very pleasant view. The staffer returned and did the lady's temp and blood pressure chores.

Now gowned, the lady saw me looking at her. Or perhaps she already knew and decided to acknowledge the situation. She walked over and complained about the rude staff people. She commented to a fellow victim that "these damn gowns are useless, we're completely exposed to everyone". I told her that, depending on who was wearing them, sometimes it was nice. Smile. She walked away. Her back side was indeed completely exposed. When she returned to her room, she sat on the end of her bed facing me. She saw me looking. She waved, shrugged and grinned. We smiled at each other and I gave her a thumbs up. She giggled.

When I was rolled to my treatment area, we passed right past the lady's cubicle. She wished me luck. I thanked her and said that it was a genuine pleasure seeing her. She actually laughed and said she hoped that I enjoyed it. We grinned at each other as I was rolled away.

Looking back, I know that I was being a voyeur, but was she being an exhibitionist? Probanbly. While sitting in the waiting room, she had to know how short her skirt was. She knew that I was looking and just smiled at me. And in her prep room, she made the symbolic effort to close her curtain, but the inconsiderate staffer pulled it open without regard to her state of undress. However, once it was opened, she didn't bother to close it again. She was in control. It was she who walked over to me and engaged me in a brief conversation. After pointing out that our backsides were exposed, she walked away knowing that I was watching. From the time she saw me looking up her dress in the waiting room, I think that it became a little game. The fact that our prep rooms faced each other made it possible.

My experience in hospitals is that many of the staffers don't care about the dignity of the patients. A walk down a hospital ward hallway often reveals more than I want to see. However, in this instance I hit the jackpot. Hopefully, the lady had a little fun as well.

Great stuff, thanks for sharing..

Maybe it helped you both with what was going to happen, put your minds off it so to speak, I'm sure there are a few other things you'd rather do with your time than having this procedure

Anyway hopefully the outcome was good for you both, (the results of the procedure that is!! )

I'm guessing this wasn't in the US. The HIPPA laws would hang extremely high fines on any medical facility which shows disregard for patient privacy. But the story was pretty cool.

The hospital was indeed in the USA. I am also very familiar with HIPAA regulations. I am affiliated with a medical related non profit. We are often patient advocates re: HIPAA issues. HIPAA refers to the limited dissemination of a patient's personal info and records. Among other things, the law prevents third parties from unfairly using a patient's personal data. Example is a Human Resources department that could use a person's medical history to deny that person a job. People who have never been stricken by a specific malady have been denied jobs because others in their family have been infected. Before HIPAA, insurance companies could dig around in one's family history to project which job applicants were likely to contract an expensive to cover disease. What HIPAA does not do is require hospital staff to keep the curtains closed in the prep rooms.

In fact, hospitals today can justify continual observation of patients in the prep and recovery areas. Because it was not germane to the story, I did not mention that when I was taken to the prep area, over 30 minutes before the woman came in, a large man was in recovery in the same room that the woman used. While I was being interviewed by the anesthesia nurse and having a receptacle placed on my arm, a nurses aide was helping the large gentleman across the aisle get dressed. Because there had been some instances of recovery patients fainting or falling over, the hospital regs require that the patient remains under constant observation until released. Hence, open curtains. Also, because of some inappropriate touching accusations by women in the past, open curtain observation protects both the patient and the staffers from complaints. The price of that protection is the loss of privacy. While I personally hate the lack of privacy when using hospital facilities and have often said so, I know why it is the way it is. I may not like it but the hospitals are actually acting within the law.

All of the above was not germane to the core of the story. I simply compressed time to get into the more entertaining aspects of my day.

Thanks for the info and the story. My info came from the clinic where I'm usually treated. They are very protective of privacy, and not just records.

Default Peep Redux

Most of my medical issues are probably related to Agent Orange exposure during the military unpleasantness in the late 60's and early 70's. Consequently, my primary medical care comes through the VA Health system. Despite some bureaucratic anomalies, in my opinion the VA has always been respectful and treats patients with dignity. The hospital in my story behaves more like a branch of a major insurance company, always ready to deflect blame to patients.

As much as the VA respects privacy, an amusing thing happened when I was having cataracts removed. The story fits the theme. My VA hospital treated the procedure like I was getting major surgery. In pre-op, I was gowned, prepped and had eye drops inserted. The drops cause a major eye dilation to the point that looking at the ceiling lights from my bed was painful.

As I was being pushed toward the treatment area, I heard a sound like somebody had dropped something, followed by a loud female voice saying "Shit!". The guy driving my cart pushed me against the wall. He said somebody spilled some coffee all over the floor. It needed cleaned up because it was a slip hazard. He'd be right back. It would only be a few minutes delay.

A nurses aide was carrying a tray full of foam coffee cups to one of the medical teams when somebody bumped into her. The coffee went everywhere. A minute after my attendant parked me, a young lady, muttering to herself, entered a door across the aisle opposite from my feet. She pushed the door closed but was in such a hurry that she didn't notice that it was about a third open. I saw her go to a locker across the room and open it.

My somewhat sore dilated eyes watched as she yanked off her white tunic top and pants that were covered with wet coffee stains. She was wearing white undies and pantyhose. She got some paper towels from someplace nearby and tried to dab dry her front. Finally she pulled her pantyhose down, stepped out of them and rolled them with her wet uniform into a ball. She dumped the wet stuff onto the locker floor. She then quickly put on a light blue dress that buttoned up the front. It was like a duster that she may have normally worn over her whites.

Just before she reached the partially open door we made eye contact. She stopped with her mouth open in surprise. She looked back toward her locker, looked at me, rolled her eyes up and said "Shit" for the second time in less than five minutes. She then rushed past me. A minute or so later, I completed my journey to the treatment area.

I must admit that it was a sight for sore eyes.

Default My Wife's Experience

I believe that I have posted about this in another thread.

When my wife was scheduled to deliver our son, we were assigned to a overflow delivery room in the basement of the hospital. This was for a pre-scheduled C-section. The delivery room had windows that ran from waist-high to the ceiling on two sides of the room. She was completely nude for the procedure. I was there to hold her hand. She was only a few feet from the two corridors. Anybody walking down the corridors would have gotten an eyeful. Because our focus was on the surgery, we didn't see of there were any onlookers.

Default Hospital viewing

Not so much peep show, but last post reminded me. Wife was pregnant and about to give birth. It was a fairly high risk one due to complications. While we were in hospital room with curtains they pull around they had her just in a gown. For some reason, it seemed every doctor, intern, resident had to come in and examine. Hell, I was waiting for the janitor and kitchen staff to show up, take a look, and put their fingers in her.

I know it shouldn’t have made me feel that way, but all these men (and women), touching her pussy, with everything exposed was turning me on. Especially the younger residents and interns.

One unexpected benefit, and I don’t know why this came up, one dr asked number of partners she had and if she ever had a VD. She said no VD, but gave a number of guys that was higher than she told me by 5. Didn’t say anything at the time, but after the birth and recovery, it was a nice little tidbit to bring up in bed. Because she was dishonest, I told her to give me details. It was hot hearing about those other lovers. Not sure if other guys like having their wife talk about when other guys fucked get.

Hearing my wife talk about her past partners and all the details she can remember is an extreme turn on for both of us. I continually wish that she would bringing up additional partners that she "forgot about", but it hasn't happened in 15 years, so probably unlikely.
