Default Best Free Software For Clipping Videos?

Hi,

I have a couple of clips that I would like to share with the board, but they're part of longer videos. Can anyone recommend some free, easy-to-use software to achieve this? I'm a bit of a tech retard unfortunately.

VirtualDubMod for AVIs, MPGs, and VOBs, Avidemux for everything else (MP4s, FLVs, etc.).

You might also consider Freemake Converter. It handles most formats including DVD files.
It has a useful editing function.

Arrow

If you want to keep it simple and not have to use a new program you can use Windows Movie Makers (if your a windows user) to clip all video types except .flv files and some .avi formats and it is amazingly easy to use and it comes with every version of windows (under all programs.)
