My thought is the upscale cleans up the image, which is a positive. As long as it’s not altering it with added images or removing items. Before AI I would improve my photos by using available photo edit tools. Same thing here.

Personally I hate ai. It's ruining all the photos and currently ruining all the videos on YouTube as well. They're being scrubbed clean of all detail and all the people's faces look like they're wearing Halloween masks and then they're being mis-labelled as "in HD".

I don’t see that issue here. Every upscale is not the same and these last posts look nice. If you weren’t told these were improved you’d never notice. These don’t looked scrubbed to me at all, and certainly some photos come with a graininess or dullness that I don’t mind seeing repaired to bring out the beauty of the women.
