It looks good. You're getting good at getting through dresses. I would like to make one suggestion that might make them even better. When adjusting the levels, there are three sliders in Photoshop.

I think you're using the right-most one, and sliding it left, which works a lot of the time.

But, with pictures like these, try sliding the middle slider to the left. It will lighten up the darker areas but not make them as washed out.

Sometimes you can do a combination of the two sliders. Slide both of them a little bit left to achieve more luminance-friendly results.

Play around with it and see what you think. Keep up the good work!

Dude.. You've done a lot of nice stuff on these pictures. But I disagree about this most recent one posted. I'm not sure how you came up with what you did, but I did a hard contrast without correction to show you what I believe is the correct reveal. I don't mean disrespect. I'm just not sure how you came up with what you did.


I've attached a comparison. On the left is a basic hard contrast I did. On the right is the image you provided. I've marked areas to demonstrate the contrast already available to the naked eye. This is not a put-down. I'm just not sure how you arrived at the image you did. Seriously, you've done a lot of great stuff so I guess that's why I'm confused about this picture.

I would love to see what her face looks like. If you post the images with the face, I know I can do something with them.


Since before I started this thread, I received a lot of requests to fix people's images. I'm happy to give them a try, but under the following conditions:

3. I would prefer to work on images with faces. If it's just a body part, it's not as interesting to me, and probably to most people. That doesn't mean I won't try, but images with faces and bodies are much more likely to get my attention.
